I was doing an update on my iphone. I had it hooked to laptop was gonna do it through iTunes accidentally hit the update on the phone instead. it has been 5 hours scared it is not going to come back on. Can I STOP it??

In the settings iCloud and Store are set to my wife's account but stil sometime toask my password for updates. How we can stop that?

I find this is worth doing to stop itunes from upgrading your phone or accidentally upgrading. (if you set a jailbreak up for a friend who might not be wise to JB's worth doing this to them) Download FWChanger from Cydia and set custom firmware, then reboot. I set mine to 3.1.3 and i used build 7E18.
For those who dont know what this prog does, basically it just changes the number of your firmware, and nothing else (as far as i know), so itunes picks it up as your running latest firmware (when really you are not). Now itunes says my software is up to date.
After the update I've been loosing call cause I the speakers doesn't work when my phone is in ringer; I still can listen to music or answer the phone with the headphones. How can I solve this?

I waited 20, maybe 30 more minutes, and then I tried resetting my phone. ITunes then said my phone was in recovery mode, so I needed to restore settings. Now it's stuck again, with less progress shown. What might be wrong?

I can't download the iOS software update on my 3G. it starats the download and then starts to prepare the update but then says an error has occurred with update and has the option to closse or click on settings and when i click on the settings it goes right back to the original screen of the download and install screen. Blackberry asked me to download a Blackberry update, which I did.Now after a whole night, the update is still only 21% completed. It seems like the update crashed.I already removed the battery several times, but when it restarts, the update starts immediately and keeps hanging at 0%!! Also after more or less 10 minutes of hanging at 0%, the blackberry restarts itself... and then starts the update again.

I looked at her phone the other day and sure enough, BT and WIFI were both OFF, and when I tried to turn them on, it said something like "Sorry, can't to that right now. Try again later.". Turned off phone and turned back on, and it's fine...for a while, then does the same thing.

I've tried logging out of the current apple ID, powering off, on, putting apple ID back, no difference.
Tried turning off automatic updates, powering off, on, putting it back on, no difference (it's currently set in obviously).
Also difficult yo test as each time I need to wait for new updates to be issues to see if it works or not.

I've had the iP4 since the launch day and yes I have seen the bars drop but haven't dropped a darn call yet. I'm on the phone for the better part of each day and I, like Mr. Jobs, see this as a NON ISSUE. It's just like the old story "Dr. my arm hurts when I position it like this" Dr: "Well don't do that" " Honestly, the news, media and Apple haters have taken this story and misconstrued the hell out of it. Whenever any company sells a million of anything, there are going to be some issues with a small % of the devices. That's a given. The problem nowadays, is that the first "I want some media love-whore attention jerk" will begin to whine, tip news outlets and complain on every message bored around. I've TRIED to drop a call by using a Samurai Death Grip and it just wouldn't happen. Yes, the bars fall but it's not hurting reception or the phones performance. Anywho, to those who have been weary about picking up and iP4 because of this nonsense please don't hesitate it's seriously not that bad.

IPhone isn't even a year old. It breaks down even with a little amount of apps running. It breaks down and restarts. I have done the pressing and holding of the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds.
