i've had an iphone 3gs for a while now and was happy with it. i normally let my 7yr-old daughter play games and watch Internet clips on it, but i don't know what she did this morning that now my iphone talks with every command, i have to touch to select and then double-tap for the command to go through, i am having trouble now just trying to type in my password to get into the phone to even see if there is a way to try and take off of what seems to be a seeing-impaired setting.
When I make a phone call or when someone calls me, my light doesn't dim. While talking to someone my face hits one of the buttons on the phone, especially the mute button.
When I am talking on the Samsung Note3 I can place them on speaker and go through the phone checking emails or text messages or surf the web at the same time. It's very handy as I use phone for work and can even look up google drive and download something all while talking to someone. This will be an determining factor for me purchasing the iphone 6.
well in addition to the three tested in the conference video, i saw more phones being apple doom-gripped. such as this...

and now the pre will be i guess..this is very funny to me because i felt like all those other companies were probably feeling so smug right now with the whole iphone 4 reputation.and now its like, apple is killing em with these videos and they are pretty convincing, whether haters admit it or not, that this is all blown out of proportion and that all phones have this sensitivity in one way or another.i mean we were over there acting like we expected a recall. and we got all hysterical when jobs correctly said its a non-issue. but now i feel like we made them angry and this is only showing the facts more sharply and scientifically than ever.
and the facts are that its the best device available and the rest are junk compared to it.
so now, when a company tries to get fresh.theyll just release another simple vid of some hand model holding their competitors phone.
this hate is getting huge and making a huge impact on apple (low-brow simpletons across the world now have the impression the iphone 4 cant make calls) so as a response, it gives apple every right to go to war.but its a war they are already winning so now its even more reason to dominate the competition because these videos i honestly feel makes those guys look bad/even worse in comparison.
when i use my speaker option during a call, i can hear the other person perfectly, however they cannot hear i thing i say. its as if i muted them. speaker works just fine while listening to music. mic issues?
I used to have the BB Tour but, due to an unfortunate incident involving some water, it had to be replaced. While the phone had a few quirks, overall I was pleased with my BB so I decided to get another one. I'm starting to think that was a mistake. This phone gets very hot during calls. I'm assuming it has something to do with the heat that also causes the battery to drain quite quickly. There is also an extremely annoying quirk of the audio cutting in and out during calls. This only lasts for a second or two but happens repeatedly throughout any given call
Until last Tuesday, I was away on holidays. Prior to this my Blackberry was working perfectly. However since coming back, I noticed that my laptop & handset do not talk. I was told by the Blackberry software that my handset needed a new upgrade. I tried to upgrade, but this failed & in the meantime, my contacts which were supposedly backed up were obliterated. It claimed the fact that I had a password (which I used to stop my phone making phone calls without my knowing in my pocket) was preventing the upgrade from happening. I am now literally without phone & lost.
Does anyone know if and how the touchpad can be locked during phone conversations.Every time I'm talking with someone, it seems my face or ear touches the touchpad causing both the person on the other end and myself to hear beeps.
I can't use the keyboard on my phone while talking on it. The keyboard doesn't come up at all while talking on the phone. As soon as I hang up the keyboard pops up.
I have a Samsung S6 with a Otterbox defender and i am having a problem. When i call someone the person I am calling is hearing a echo of there own voice.
I can make it stop if i open the 2 caps on the bottom of the case.
Yesterday I experienced a random reboot while I was in the middle of a phone call. Anyone else have this problem? I've had this phone for about a year now, and it hasn't ever done that. No apps were running in background either.
I have a Curve 9330, running OS 6, and I have found a very annoying feature/bug, OR... When I am on an active call, the two possible methods to lock the keys (Mute button, "a" key) do NOT lock the keys. This is most annoying because... I have a bluetooth earpiece, and I am a big fan of using my cell phone "hands free". I can walk around, with my cell phone in my pocket, talking on the phone, moving from room to room, and doing things that might require 2 hands, etc.BUT, because of the feature/bug described above, I can NOT lock the keys once I'm on a call, so I cannot put the Curve in my pocket (or I'll start hitting keys inadvertently). Then, if I want to move, i have to take the Curve with me, so my bluetooth will stay in range. So now must walk around with the Curve in my hand - now I'm only "one-hand free." I cannot put dishes in the sink, or put on a pair of pants, or bring in groceries from the car, etc., etc., etc. - at least not easily.
