IPhone :: Notes Application Cannot Find Notes Have Written
Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.

May 15, 2012I keep a number of notes in my iPhone, but when I connect to itunes on my Mac and sync, about 3/4 of the notes (not all of them!) are duplicated on the phone. If I go in manually and delete the duplicates, the next time I sync, they will be duplicated again, appearing in pairs in the Notes listing. The content of the notes will be the same, as are the creation dates.

Jun 6, 2012In my mail app it allows me to create new folders in the notes section so that I can keep multiple 'notepads' I guess you might call them. It's as simples as creating a new folder and then right away this syncs with my iPhone and iPad and these new 'accounts' show up in the notes app. It's really useful for keeping a set of business notes and personal notes etc etc
BUT , I can't for the life of me figure out how you go about creating one of the new accounts/note folders using the iPhone or iPad ? I can't believe there isn't a simple + button somewhere to do this. I've noticed you can also add folders in the icloud web page, so surely they haven't simply left this feature out of the iOS devices entirely have they ?

Sep 11, 2014I deleted a single note. Now the Notes app will not open. If I press the Notes icon, on the Home screen, the app opens, flashes and then disappears. If I look on the multitask bar, the Notes app is there showing the last note I viewed, before deleting a note. If I touch it to open, it opens on the main screen and then disappears! If I look at the multitask bar again, it is there...... I can repeat the multitask bar view repeatedly! It's like there is an immediate Home button press happening that closes the Notes app!  What's up?
