I just bought a new iphone 4s. I synced my 3gs just fine, moments ago. Now i am plugging in my new iphone 4s and it's not being recognized by itunes, period. What should I do? I've reset the phone, closed itunes, ensured both are running updated software, etc. I just re-plugged my old phone in and it pops up just fine...how do i make it recognize the new phone?

My iTunes library recognizes my 4S. I can see it under the Devices section. The problem is that it doesn't automatically sync the music and all the other stuff from the library to the iPhone itself. If I click the "Sync" button in the iPhone section, it will start to sync but won't actually sync. Please help.

I have just upgraded and got a new iphone 4s. When i plug it into the the computer the phone does not make the noise that it should (the same noise when you put it on charge) the computer does not recognise the phone as any form of device or driver, the computer doesnt even charge the iphone. I have opened itunes manually and tried to force connection this way but that didnt work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of itunes and can also confirm that the apple mobile support is installed, I even repaired it just to be sure.I have tried 3 different cables and 3 different USB ports but still nothing.What makes this even more frustrating is that the computer and itunes does recognise my partners iphone 4.

Out of nowhere my iphone is not being recognized by itunes but when it's connected it charges. Itunes does recognize my ipod so it can't be an issue with itunes or my usb cord right? My Iphone4S has worked perfectly on my home Wifi, but all of a sudden recognizes it but will not connect. My wife's phone still works on our home WIFI. My Atrix does nothing at all when I plug a USB cable into it, regardless of what the other end is plugged into (PC, wall or car). It doesn't charge; it doesn't tell me I have a USB connection, nor does my PC. However, if I reboot the phone with a USB cable plugged in, it works correctly. If it's plugged into a power source only, it charges normally. If it's plugged into a PC, when it finishes booting, there's a USB notifier in my pull-down menu, and I can interact with it as I should be able to. It charges, it syncs, it interacts with Media Link, Windows Media Player... it's just like it ought to be.The cable works (several cables, in fact). The phone works. If the phone reboots and wakes up impaled by a USB cable, everything is great, which tells me there's nothing physically wrong with the phone. It's consistent. I've tried it this way on three PCs (2 laptops and a desktop), at home, at work, and in my car.My FW and software are all up to date. I had the problem when I got the phone home, and I've done a complete factory reset, and then updated everything (or checked for updates and found software to be current) again.

My BB 9930 was drained completely yesterday and shut itself off. I charged it last night and was able to turn it on and everything was fine...I was able to receive calls and get onto the Facebook app with no problems. I continued to let it charge and went to sleep. I awoke to a Blackberry that was off while still plugged in. I turned it on and I never received a true network signal...I'm with Verizon and the only signal I constantly get was 1xand sometimes 3G but I could still not place or receieve calls...it was so sporadic that I eventually got a couple of calls thru to VZW and it was no prob on their end. Did *228...nothing...battery pull....same result...alt shift delete...same...tried to switch network...NEVER COULD CONNECT TO A NETWORK. IN FACT IT SAYS UNKNOWN OPERATOR UNDER MOBILE NETWORK SETTINGS...went to VZW store they were clueless...backed up data and did security wipe..One thing I noticed is the Blackberry icon that's usually there by network signal strength has disappeared and no matter what hasn't returned..I have the latest os .374.I also reloaded the os and it still says unknown operator under mobile networks.I did alt LGLG and found a few errors including an net.rim.tcp error and a class cast exception severe error.What is RIM's contact info cause I bought this thing brand new, unactivated and at full price and I'll have to pay Verzion $100 for them just to send me a refurb.

My laptop rcognizes that the phone is plugged and it is charging the phone as well, but the software doesn't work. It keeps telling me that it is disconnected. This is a new problem for me as I have previously had no difficulty connecting to my PC transferring files, especially music files.
Windows 7 on PC, Android 6 on Nexus 5. I am not rooted.
One solution mentioned in the other similar post said to go to:
Settings|Storage and USB|3dots| Menu in the Upper R Corner| USB Computer Connection is MTP
When I click on the 3 dots all I see is the option for "help and feedback". Not useful.
Accessing the device manager on the PC shows the Nexus 5 under portable devices. Clicking to update drivers shows the drivers are up to date.
Looking at "Devices and Printers" shows 2 Nexus 5 icons. One is described as a portable media player. Clicking on it brings up the blank page. The other icon under properties lists the device as a phone. Double clicking on the icon brings up Bluetooth operations which shows PC<->BT<->Nexus 5. I currently have Bluetooth turned off on the Nexus 5.
Curve 8900 (TIM) OS: 5.0.0.461.Yesterday I connected my device to the computer and upgraded the software to version 5.0.0.461 via Blackberry desktop manager. I can't remember witch OS version the device had before.
After the update, i'm having two problems:
1.- When connected to my Dell BH200 bluetooth headset it no longer recognizes the A/V Remote control functions. With the previous software version, when the headset connected, it recognized: Handsfree, Stereo audio and A/V Remote control (witch allowed me to change songs and pause/resume play using the headset buttons). With the new version, it only recognizes the first two (even though in the device properties screen appear as services: Handsfree, Headset, A/V Remote control and Audio sink) . I use my device to listen to music, so having to take it out everytime i want to change a song instead of just using the headset buttons bugs me. Trying to solve this problem, i have deleted the headset from my bluetooth device list, and then paired it again (several times). I have also reseted the headset, and the device but nothing works. Any ideas on how i can get the device to recognize A/V Remote control functions again?
2.- After the upgrade, the block screen button on top of the device no longer works. Also, putting the device into the holster no longer blocks the device. Is this function disabled in new version?

I followed the unlocked instruction from AT&T to restore my 3GS iPhone from factory settings. After completing restoring, follow the steps to set up the phone and stuck at activation screen. I inserted AT&T SIM card and connected to iTune but still failed to activate with following error message on iTune: "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate. Please disconnect and insert a SIM card in the iPhone." I have retry several times (including disconnect and reinsert the sim) but no luck.
