View 1 RepliesMy experience (using Torch) over the past 4 months was that there has been a of battery pulling to reset the phone. I don't think its a very good idea, my phone will last much too long that way, the back cover will give way any time sooner than I would expect (2-3 years on my other phones). Is there another way for this reset thing.. like software trigger, etc. I don't remember having to do this way in my other phones befor

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently used a bad battery in my phone, which ran down to 5% very rapidly, and then worked forever on that 5%.
Unfortunately, since then my other two (good quality) batteries also deplete very quickly... so I think the battery indicator has become inaccurate.
How can you delete the battery stats file on the Atrix?
Out of the blue my blackberry has a App Error 200, reset, I took the battery out and the sim card, waited 30 minutes, then put back in, still have error. I cannot use the phone in any way.

View 9 Replies View RelatedSo my Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630 takes on average 13-15 minutes with a battery pull reset. I love the phone, and have no complaints about it except for this issue. I've had plenty of blackberries and this is taking the longest. I have no clue as to why it takes so long - I dont have any apps really installed, and no pictures/music, etc. loaded.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can make it run faster? This is the stats of my phone:
5.0.0.624 OS
914.6mb of free space (917.7mb total)
I pulled my phone out of my pocket today and had a white screen with "JVM Error 545" on the screen with "Reset" under that. I've clicked reset I've done battery pulls and it just keeps going to that same screen.
From what I've read I need to re-install my OS, but I've only got a Mac and I don't think I can install OSs from a Mac.I've tried plugging it into my computer and it automatically brings up the Desktop Manager, but it doesn't ever make a connection to the phone. I don't see a way out of this...
I recieved a JUM error 102 (reset) after reinstalling the battery after a lockup.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWas using 5.1.1 after update and was having a few little issues, nothing too bad, the battery was acceptable. I did a factory reset to try and iron these issues out..... phone now is better however the battery has taken a large hit.
Nothing obviously causing it. All looks normal, when I have charged fully the battery info shows estimated battery at around 9 to 10 hours brightness set below 50% . It's a bit annoying when you do everything to manage it. Was fairly happy before but now... didn't know if it's feasible to keep.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just noticed this. Everytime I reboot the phone, it resets the battery stats. It'll say something like "1 min 30s on battery" even though I last charged the phone hours ago. Is this a bug in Android 4.4? I never had this issue on my Nexus 4.
FYI, i'm unlocked and rooted, running ART as my run time environment.
What now?

I had to take my phone up to verizon store to check it out and I watched the tech go to the Options menu, bring up the keyboard, type somthing in, and the phone reset like it does with Quickpull or a battery pull....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently have been having some weird problems with my HTC One M7. My battery has been draining a heck of a lot faster than it used to. It has also been lagging quite a bit. Sometimes extremely.
For example. One day it drained 40% in one hour. As I am typing this, it has drained 6% in like 3 mins. That's insane.
For an example of lag, it has been registering short presses as long ones, or taking a long time to pop up the lock screen, or open the app drawer. Some times a few seconds.
I recently installed the newest sense update, and installed tasker from aptoide, but then deleted it.
When I tried to factory reset it, it does nothing. Same for removing device admins. ( I was trying to uninstall ac display).
So, two days ago, I retrieved my Triumph from my coat pocket and was greeted by a black crash screen with green font listing my phone's information (hardware/software version and model numbers, RF band id, productID, MEID number, ESN number, BT Address, WiFi Mac, and Battery ADC). I have no idea exactly what caused the crash. The phone would not respond to a power down, so I had to remove the battery. After subsequent attempts to reinsert the battery and power up (with varying amounts of time between power ups from two minutes to an hour), I arrive at the same error screen each time, after the big "M" splash loading screen. I've had this phone for about a week, and am still pretty unfamiliar with Motorola phones or the Android OS.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI got a Nokia Lumia 1520 last week. Coming from an HTC One (M7), I am still impressed with the smoothness of Windows Phone OS -rarely I get any loading for an app. Moreover Metro has come a long way since the days of ZuneHD.
However I got a slight problem with the date/ time. Both the date and time gets reset back to 20 July 2013, 03:00 after the battery runs out or I try a soft reset.I already tried:
1) Setting the time on manual; it will reset back to manual time and the date/time above.
2) Setting the time on automatic, will still get reset back to manual and the wrong date/time.
3) Instead of setting the phone on 4G, I used the 3G and automatic. Same as above.
4) Setting the date manually and then to automatic, keeps the date/time I setup manually.
5) Turning the device off and on again (not soft reset with the volume key) will keep the date/ time regardless if it was set manually or manually and then automatically.
