I wasn't sure if this had been asked but i couldn't find it in searching here or htc wiki.is there any way to export & import the touch keyboard dictionary so we don't have to re-key all our new words?
Is this a joke? How did Motorola manage to COMPLETELY leave out the Auto-correct dictionary for the keyboard? And signal strength is pathetic. The phone is great but this is sad, what good is such a well hardware'd phone when you can't get service. I live in NYC, one of Sprint's strongest regions. To date, I haven't been anywhere where I have received 4 bars of service. Since the phone can't, I manually updated the PRL, and lo and behold, it STILL is AWFUL. It's disappointing. Incredibly disappointing. I presume Motorola is fixing the auto-correct issue with an update. The signal is excusable if it's a matter of hardware, but the keyboard simply is not. For 300$, I think I paid for the stock keyboard to have auto-correct.
Is there a way to adjust/add to the auto-correct dictionary for the physical keyboard of the XPRT? On my SOLD BB9650, this was done the first time I picked up the phone. Now, I can't. This phone (while waiting for Gingerbread), would be THE BEST, if it could fix this little problem...
My phone has automatically learned a bunch of incorrect words I have miss typed. On my old PEARL 8100 I would just go into the custom dictionary and delete them. On my 8200 they do not show up in the list at all.
Words I have manually entered show up fine, but I can't delete words that have been learned by the phone. The longer I use the phone, the more unusable it becomes.App World 220.127.116.11 missing icon fix (without device wipe): http://bit.ly/AppWorldFix

After updating my phone to iOS 8, I needed to suddenly define a word. After typing and selecting the word in notes and selecting "define", I was given this message "No definitions found." Which was strange because before I update my phone I downloaded the English dictionary and the British English dictionary. After tapping the manage button, I saw that the two dictionaries were stuck on the blue downloading circle, at 0% and making no progress at all to download to 100%. The fact that I can't communicate with Apple about this (I'm not one for phone calls) or find the right option on the iPhone support page is bad. I need my dictionaries for school when a regular dictionary isn't available.
I write messges in Portuguese (Brazil) and english and I would like to have in another IOS version an option that you can change dictionary when you are typing because sugestions will appears on language selected only in Iphone setting.Messagin could has a option to touch and you can select the language to type. When you close messaging to send an SMS for exemple, the dictionary language back to default.
So at one time or another I typed "tge" instead of "the" but I hit the little X when the iPhone suggested "the" (accident) and now the iPhone recognizes "tge" as a word and never corrects it.Where is the iPhone User Dictionary so I can remove the word "tge"? I've searched and searched but there isn't much out there.
As seen in the creenshot, the "British Englisg" dictionary is stuck on download. I forgot what happened, but I think safari crashed when the dictionary was downloading. When I re-launched safari and try to resume the download, there wasn't any way to do so, as it only shows an inactive download circle, which I cannot do anything about. I tried tapping on it but it doesn't respond. I tried resetting the keyboard dictionary in Settings, yet it's still the same. I tried restarting iPhone but the problem is still there. It looks so awkward lol I don't know what to do with/about it.
My phone changed from a full keyboard to more like a regular phone and I cannot find the setting to change it back.I have pressed the menu key and then options, but it does not give me any keyboard options. How do it change it!?
Just got my torch last night! yayyy! I did read in one of the threads there is a way to bring the virtual keyboard down by swiping up and down (I think). But when I do that, I always open the manage connections option. Can someone explain how to get it to show wo opening the physical keyboard?
I have recently bought a Nokia e51 in England, but I am currently living and working in Denmark. I want to send text messages in danish using the predictive dictionary but it does not seem possible as it is not a pre-installed language. Is it possible to add languages to the dictionary?
