I accidentally added a misspelled word to the custom dictionary. Is there a way to delete the individual misspelled word in Windows 10 on mobile? Since I have only added one misspelled word, I would even be OK clearing the entire custom dictionary if needed.
I found lots of guidance for doing this on WM 8.1 but the menus mentioned there are not available in WM 10 -- at least that I can see.
Greetings, while we're all enjoying the enamors of iOS4, I can't seem to locate the 'custom' dictionary. I go under keyboards but I dont see an option.
one of the first bits of software that I installed on my E72 was the custom dictionary editor from Nokia Labs. Its been a great **bleep** on my earlier E63 and I naturally wanted it on my E72 However I noticed that there are words being added (by my keyboard mistakes) that DO NOT APPEAR in the custom dictionary. For example I managed to add [URL] to my dictionary? is there any other way to blast the custom dictionary?
Does anybody know how to enter a period into the custom dictionary.I am looking to add my email address to it so I dont have to type it out on web forms every time.
I am trying to get the custom ringtones onto my 920 but zune does support the 920, how to transfer the mp3 tones so that the custom folder appears in the ringtone section. The phone is using windows 8.
Converted ringtone file from mp3 to wma format, downloaded wma file to the ringtones folder using Windows Phone application, the file plays using Windows Media Player on workstation from ringtones folder on phone, file appears under custom in the list, but does not play on the phone when selected.
I have a custom tone for text messages (SMS) but my 1520 stops playing it about halfway through.
I have had this tone for a while and I think it started only playing about 50% of it when I updated to WP8.1 Dev Preview. I've been hanging on to see if Cyan fixed it, but it hasn't. The funny thing is, every once in a while (maybe once per week) it will play the whole thing.
We have the set of default ringtones from both Windows Phone and Nokia pre installed and those from Insider app. I made many custom ringtones, but none of them has the quality and sound that of preinstalled or Insider ringtones. I tried with Mp3 at 320 bit rate and as well as WMA. What is the best format for the custom ringtone which can match with the pre installed one???? without this info the custom ringtones are waste of time..............
I have 5 default pages on the desktop that was easily managable on my samsung galaxy s. I was able to reduce the number of "desktops" to 3 and I was again able to add more desktops. Why it isn't possible on the ray??
With the new lolipop upgrade I've seen some changes on my lg g3. One of the little anoying ones is that I can no longer modify my library song info.. Cannot correct artist name, song name,etc..I previously had the option to do so....
Is there a way to modify the calendar alerts on my iPhone 4S? Because of the schedule I work, I would like to add some additional options, e.g. 6 hours before, 8 hours before, 4 days before, 1 week before, etc.
I backed up my contacts by ssh'ing into my phone and backing up the files in this directory: /private/var/mobile/Library/AddressBook.When I restored and re-added the files my contacts show up but I can't add or modify them...
how to modify the default search providers for the new OS 6.0. I don't mean changing between the provided option, but rather the URL of which the search uses. The ability to search Google from the universal search on the home screen or from the URL location bar in the browser is great; however the search results are displayed using the desktop browser version which makes it difficult to read on the tiny screen. On the Google search page options there is an option to format the search result to be formatted for mobile which makes reading on the small screen much easier.Unfortunately the default google search appears to use a URL that forces the browser to use display the search results formatted for desktop.
Before the upgrade to 2.3.3 the software I'm using for direct synchronization from outlook to the phone (myphoneexplorer) was able to make the contacts looking sorted by last name, and now isn't any longer.Does exist any setting or application that can show the contacs sorted by Last Name?
I just activated a used Verizon LG 8600 phone using the 1200n1200 plan. I need to find instructions on how to modify the settings so I can use the data function of this plan.
With the news that Google will be releasing monthly OTA updates, I am wondering if we can create a method to apply OTA updates on rooted/modified devices (e.g. modify the update.zip itself to bypass whatever checks it performs)?
I run stock, but with root, xposed, and many system applications removed. Returning to 100% stock each month, updating, then re-modifying is a tedious process that I am not looking forward to. How the OTA updates work? Is it even possible to modify the update.zip to remove the check for a stock /system?
One thing that I miss from CyanogenMod is the ability to add things to the quick settings menu. Is there an app available that will allow you to modify the quick settings menu on stock Android? My phone is rooted so but otherwise it's stock. I don't miss the instability of CyanogenMod, just that one feature, so I don't want to install a custom ROM, I just want to add a couple of things to the quick settings menu.
Is there a way to modify the Quick List on the phone to reorder the options or change the options? The Quick List is the list that pops up when you press the Power button; it pops up a list of options. The first is Power Off. I'd like to reorder them so the Power one is down two or three places. I have accidentally powered off the phone on multiple occasions and it frustrates me.
