I just activated a used Verizon LG 8600 phone using the 1200n1200 plan. I need to find instructions on how to modify the settings so I can use the data function of this plan.

Is there an app available that will allow you to modify the quick settings menu on stock Android? My phone is rooted so but otherwise it's stock. I don't miss the instability of CyanogenMod, just that one feature, so I don't want to install a custom ROM, I just want to add a couple of things to the quick settings menu.

When I go into my "Storage" settings, I have the option to clear my cache with one click. I'd like to use this function to clear off my cached browsing, imgur, etc., but my concern is my games.
1) If I clear the cache, will I lose my saved game data?
2) Will I lose any settings for any apps?
I read one thread, in that they mentioned that with the data traffic ON only we can able to receive SMS etc but with data traffic OFF i able to receive SMS etc. Then whats its exact purpose?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I turn on the cellular data option the personal hotspot function bar appears with the wording "Personal Hotspot" and the wheel appears and goes around and around forever. If I turn the iPhone off and back on (with cellular data turned on) then the personal hotspot bar appears with the wording "Set up Personal Hotspot" and not wheel spinning. When the wheel is spinning I assume that processing is going on and using battery, not good! By the way I do not use the personal hotspot function.

So was all ready to copy data & settings - firstly hit the problem of not being able to use mini-CD for BB User Tools with my Mac - so downloaded it from internet as well as BB Desktop Software 6.Despite the basic printed instructions which came with my Torch telling me I would get a Dialog box with the option to "copy Data and settings from another device" - there appears to be no such option available. The options seem very limited. My friends who lent me the Bold keep talking about using Desktop Manager and certainly so many posts I read here mention it - but it doesn't seem to exist on the software I have.

I accidentally added a misspelled word to the custom dictionary. Is there a way to delete the individual misspelled word in Windows 10 on mobile? Since I have only added one misspelled word, I would even be OK clearing the entire custom dictionary if needed.
I found lots of guidance for doing this on WM 8.1 but the menus mentioned there are not available in WM 10 -- at least that I can see.
