Dec 5, 2014i have downlloaded numerous ringtones from iTunes and then they disappear within hours.
I Have sunk my phone into iTunes library on my desktop and it still allows them to vanish. I have the iPhone 6 and I have reported numerous problems and they re download but then disappear again. I went to Apple store and they see my phone is having a software issue but said to call apple for a refund, to rebuy my purchases.

Everything worked, photos, messages, ringtones etc .....now the ringtones which I have always used and downloaded, are not working ! They did when I got the phone, but yesterday I connected it to the laptop to make sure iTunes was working with it, which it was ... since then , although my chosen tones for text and ringtones are in the list in 'Tones' and ticked , they don't work ..checked using my husbands phone to ring my phone , just got a tinkling type sound, same with text message tones, not the ones I have ticked either on my phone of my iPad ... 1. I want txt alerts to continue (every minute or two) until I have opened and read a text message. Does any model I-Phone allow for this?
2. I want to disable predictive text as I don't like the I-Phone algorhthym for this -- it causes me endless grief. Which model allows for this?
3. I want my battery to last a minimum of 2 days without charging (I've tried all the usual ways of reducing battery consumption and the result does not meet my needs). Does any model I-Phone allow for this?

Jan 22, 2011My Storm had been working fine and I didn't change any settings. Suddenly even though I had the phone set to silent if a call came in the ringtone would play. This had never happened before. Now the ringtone doesn't play at all and none of the other alerts sound at all. If I try and test them they either do not play or I get an error stating it is invalid. If I get a voicemail I'll get a weird beep but that is about it.

I copied a folder called media to my S6 when I first updated to 5.1.1 and I could select my ringtone and message alert tone from this folder, but yesterday it went back to default and now i can't select anything in the media folder, coincidentally my video folder i used to be able to see is now not showing in the video player but is there if i browse my files?? The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? I had assumed i would be able to save/backup/restore the most important info on my cell like my text messages, phone contacts and ALL my photos in my photostream thru iTunes and NOT have to shell out $3.99US + taxes to be able to do so! The App Store has only 1 free app (out of a whopping 5) which, of course, i cannot use on my 6.1.6 iOS..
How can i backup my messages and contacts? How do I add more options from where I backup email contacts etc etc OTHER than just Microsoft programs? i.e. From Chrome or FireFox.
How do I save and access ALL my 600 pics from my phone when only 56 are listed to be able to be saved on iTunes? Would I be completely delusional to hope there is an app or software that could do a cross-platform transfer of my stuff to an Android phone....??Â

IPhone :: App Store Account Hijacked / Payment Sent To ITunes Store In My Name
Jul 13, 2010So I come home today to see four emails from PayPal from the four payments that have been made using my App Store account, totaling $449.95. I call Apple immediately and after being on hold for nearly 50 minutes with them trying to figure this out, I'm told my App Store account is going to be closed and that they cannot reverse the charges, so I need to file a dispute with my bank (or in my case, PayPal).
I called PayPal and they did not sound very confident in me getting my money back and said Apple should be the one reversing the charges. They guided me through filing a dispute on the charges and said that is the best they can do.
Am I screwed out of my money? Here is a screenshot of what the charges were made for (there is another $49.99 charge that is not showing up here, but appears in my PayPal account history):

Samsung :: R451C - Cannot Save Downloaded Ringtones?
May 15, 2010I just got this phone about 3 weeks ago and just got my data cable and sd card and such the other day. I downloaded a couple of songs to use as ringtones and they are in the correct folder on my card. I set one as my ringtone and called my cell phone from my house phone and it worked. I cut my phone off and I was going to show my wife what it sounded like (when she got off work). The ringtone was set back to one of the originals that came on the phone. I have looked and looked and it seems like no one else has had this problem. I even deleted those songs and tried a new one. It worked fine until I cut the phone off and back on. Same results. I ave this through NET 10 by the way.
