Mar 19, 2012They seem to have become lost after an update crash. They appear to be still on the phone as the alerts in use at the time continue to function but are inaccessible to change and if changed for an imported ringtone can not be restored.How to restore them?
Edit: Ringtone folder on device is empty.
BB Storm :: Ringtones Does Not Play At All - No Sound Alerts
Jan 22, 2011My Storm had been working fine and I didn't change any settings. Suddenly even though I had the phone set to silent if a call came in the ringtone would play. This had never happened before. Now the ringtone doesn't play at all and none of the other alerts sound at all. If I try and test them they either do not play or I get an error stating it is invalid. If I get a voicemail I'll get a weird beep but that is about it.

Jul 17, 2015Having issues with the S6 ringtone and message alerts? I copied a folder called media to my S6 when I first updated to 5.1.1 and I could select my ringtone and message alert tone from this folder, but yesterday it went back to default and now i can't select anything in the media folder, coincidentally my video folder i used to be able to see is now not showing in the video player but is there if i browse my files?? Is there a cache clear for the system ringtone notification app?

Feb 12, 2010I just got my tour this week, and haven't been able to figure out how to just have vibration when I get emails without the ringtone or chime following after.And I'm talking about when the profile is not on Vibration. I just want the email notifications to be on vibrations when the profile is on active or loud or medium. I didn't have an issue with the Curve in doing this.What am I doing wrong?
I click Sounds Scroll down to ring tones/alerts click ringtones/alerts click messages.Then click the email I want to change the settings to and then I have the following settings:

volume:silent.

vibration: on

Jun 24, 2010The phone is about year old.Every time I try to use the high speed camera setting the screen turns blue. The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to clean the camera lens?Another issue is I had an Env2 think the vx9200 that had my ringtones and music on a memory card.I put that same card into the Dare and I can't set my sounds as a ringtone.The ones under 30 seconds I can but not the full songs like I could on the Evn. Is there a certain setting or specific way to use sounds for ringtones and alerts?

Jun 19, 2012Using iOS 5.1.1 on iPhone 3GS. I was browsing through my pictures in the photo album and noticed the edit feature, I wasn't sure what the buttons at the bottom were for so I clicked the red circle and realized it is the red eye edit tool. But it took me to a full screen of the picture and tells me to click on the red eyes and to click twice to undo, but after lots of clicking I can't seem to get the screen to go back to my normal photo album. How do I close this feature? I can access my camera roll through the camera but not through the photo album. Even after hitting my home key and trying to get back in it still takes me to the picture that is in edit mode.

Apr 24, 2012About a week ago my iPhone began to give indiscriminate alerts, CONSTANTLY! What's even more strange, the alert sound is not found on any of the alerts that my iPhone offers. It's a type of chime with three beats. It doesn't chime on the hour or around texts, voice mail, etc. Sometimes it will chime everytime ten plus minutes for three or four times. Then, nothing for three or four hours. Then one chime. I had to turn it off at night because it would start singing in the middle of the night.

Jun 24, 2014I have my work email account in Office 365, I have configured the account in my iPhone 4 running 7.1.1 & it's working fine.
But i have a problem here, i use outlook at Work & i have created folders & folder rules for different people working in my office the folders have been synced to my iPhone but when i receive a mail from a specific person for whom the folder is created i don't get an alert & if the mail comes directly to my inbox everything works fine.Â
I have to manually go to the folder & update it for syncing the emails. I am missing some of the important emails which i shouldn't have missed.

Jun 20, 2014One of my biggest complaints with the iphone is that if I have a voicemail, I only get one alert. If I'm not in the same room with my phone, I wouldn't know i have a message unless I continue to check my phone. It seems you should be able to set your phone to remind you every 5, 10, 15 or however many minutes you'd like.

The messages will appear (eventually in some cases - Orange for you) in my inbox. Jan 4, 2010Today I noticed out of nowhere that my led indicator no longer works for any types of msgs. I am running Berry buzz on my 8900 so i thought maybe it was that....i uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no alerts are working still.
Of course, i initially tried a battery pull...and when i put the battery back in the led went red so i know its not burnt out or anything. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Im thinking of jumping from os .250 to the 5.0 os but im concearned about berry buzz working. Thats my most important app.

Sep 17, 2010I use SlickTasks and BB Calendar. Past few days I've had a lot going on and can have as many as 8 ST alerts + 3 or so calendar alerts pop up at once. (Don't want it that way, it's just the way it worked out.) Anyway, then by Bold freezes up. Usually under a minute or so, then it finally responds and I can dismiss or delay alerts. Is that too many for the phone to handle? The only thing I've done differently lately is d/l a trial of Calendar Pro last week, but missed the 40% off sale deadline so haven't been using it. No alerts are coming from it.

Jul 30, 2010I have an iPhone 4, and I'm a bit annoyed with the level of control I have over the different alerts.I want to be able to separately control sound and vibrate for each type of alert (ringtone, email, SMS, ect.)Right now, it seems that if I have ringtone volume enabled, enabling alerts for new mail enables both sound and vibrate, and there is no choice to have new mail alerts as vibrate only without silencing the ringtone as well.
I like to hear incoming calls, although I get a lot of mail so it gets annoying hearing the new mail alert every 15 minutes.It would also be nice to change the vibrate patterns and alert tones for all of the different alerts, and to create profiles for quick changing

Jul 24, 2011I just recently got a new blackberry bold phone. When I go up in the left hand corner and put it on Vibrate, it vibrates my phone but my emails, text messages and other alerts still ring. With my old one I could put it on vibrate and it would vibrate them all. Is their a way to fix this so that when I put it on vibrate it vibrates everything.
