The numbers on the keypad have more than one letter assigned to them. How do you enter letters when dialling so that first of all they are recognised as letters rather than the number and secondly how do you distinguish which letter you are entering out of the 3/4 letters assigned to each number ?

My iphone 5c is about 9 months old and this morning I needed to respond to a text and the keypad appeared but no letters showing when in portrait but show in landscape orientation. The numbers appear ok.Â
I've switched it off and on again but it is still the same.

I'm adding a new address to my address book but it won't let me enter any letters in the zip/postal code field. How do I correct this? It will accept the number keys but any letter key is disabled and doesn't do anything. I'm on the Telus network.

Of course, I have to re-enter my passcode, and due to the huge size of the keypad icons, I was unable to enter my passcode, inadvertently hitting wrong numbers. My phone keeps disabling for increasing periods of time. I tried connecting to iTunes on my Macbook Pro, thinking I might get to Settings that way, but it asks me to enter the passcode on my phone.Â
I am afraid I will completely disable my phone.

my apple i phone 3 g was working fine no problems then it changed to giant letters and icons by itself, I was asleep when I got a text from my friend, everything was huge.I couldnt use the keyboard it was too big for the screen, I tried to change the font setting but could barely see it but did see it was still in the mimimun size font. I have large fingers. I'm sure I'm not alone in this issue:Â
When looking at Contacts on iPhone (5s), the alphabetized lettering on the right side is REALLY small. When I try to tap on a letter to jump to, 9 times out of 10 I open the contact on the LEFT that is nearest the one I'm trying to tap on the right.
Hence, is there any setting to make those alphabetized letters LARGER?Â
