Nov 29, 2015Every few days texting takes on a life of its own, starts randomly and rapidly composing nonsensical strings of letters and words which I cannot stop. The X/erase button does not work. Putting my finger within the text results in green trails. I must turn off or restart my phone to stop this behavior.
Have had the phone about 2 weeks; only added 2 apps - weather underground and pedometer which did not affect the phone at time of adding them.
I close my apps faithfully, having learned to do that when my phone started flashing webpages rapidly as well as the text feature going wonky.
Also, some text messages have to be downloaded to read them.

Jun 8, 2012My IPhone if having trouble with the screen, I can't type neither letter M nor I. I did an icloud backup and restore the phone thinking that could fix it and it didn't. Now I can't get to my backup in icloud because letter M and I are part of the user/password needed.

Mar 31, 2012my apple i phone 3 g was working fine no problems then it changed to giant letters and icons by itself, I was asleep when I got a text from my friend, everything was huge.I couldnt use the keyboard it was too big for the screen, I tried to change the font setting but could barely see it but did see it was still in the mimimun size font. When looking at Contacts on iPhone (5s), the alphabetized lettering on the right side is REALLY small. When I try to tap on a letter to jump to, 9 times out of 10 I open the contact on the LEFT that is nearest the one I'm trying to tap on the right.

Apr 14, 2012My wife has an iphone 4 and I just got the iphone 4s. I can text other people no problem but there are issues when I text my wife. If I create a text using Siri, she doesn't get it. When I type a text, she usually gets it, but not always. I have no problems sending/receiving texts with anyone else. And I've received every text she has sent. She has no problems sending/receiving texts from other people.

May 10, 2012My wife and i upgaded to 5.1.1 from 4s and 3gs and now we run in to some problems. When i text her, my texts are shown as if she send it.
She's uses my account on her phone which worked fine untill 5.1.1. Also she can see my imessages to other people. Which she couldn't see before....
we both think it's very strange. Hopefully this can be easily fixed...

Mar 17, 2012I updated my iPhone 4 last Sunday and since then, every time I send a text to a non-iMessage user, if the text is over 20 characters, I'm being told that it cuts off the last word and sends it as a second text to my friends. Is anyone else having this trouble? I know it isn't a big issue, but it's annoying to my friends to send two messages and the second only has one word in it. I'm with Sprint, but I can't imagine it being a carrier problem, right?
