When I'm writing a text to someone, I want my N8 (running Belle) to automatically capitalize the word "I" instead of leaving it a lowercase "i" after I press space - is there any way to do this? The capitalization (and lack of access to the custom dictionary) is really annoying.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI got a problem with the N8's camera. It seems that the auto-focus does not work at all. This issue applies for videos and still pictures.It did work however once. But somehow not anymore and i did not change anything related to settings and neither did i update/install any software.I already had to reset the phone to factory defaults once since the "keylock button" refused to lock my phone when i slided it. This works now, but then again, the camera appears to be broken.

View 16 Replies View RelatedSince my fones upgrade to Anna it is now reluctant to auto rotate to landscape view. The settings are correct and the auto-rotate is selected. It will auto-rotate if you give it a good hard shake to the left, and it will easily return to portrait with no problem. I received my upgrade to Anna via my PC and it seems to have fixed a couple of things that were really bugging me. I.e., the sat nav voice commands suddenly stopping for no reason and the safety camera warnings for two. But it seems to have come with it's own bugs.

I can connect to my WiFi network, yet after a while of inactivity the phone starts using 3G data again. I go into the WiFi networks and see that my network is listed as "Known" but not "Connected". I have to manually select it to re-connect.Power saving mode for WiFi is set to off.Is there a setting to automatically connect to any known WiFi network when in range? Other than macro mode I can see only red rectangular box (indicating improper focus?) and the photo seems to be blurred. Macro mode photos seems to be good. Although I find it functional and overall it looks well, I'd like to know if this can be turn off. The only downside I see is that I find myself scrolling down a for longer period of time.
