IPhone :: Does The 4 Play Stereo Or Mono Sound
Apr 30, 2012When i play music through the headphones and through the car stereo it plays sound in mono. I was just wondering if this is what the iphone does or is mines broken?

Xperia Ray :: Video Recording With Mono Audio, No Stereo On ICS?
Dec 4, 2011Since I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....

Aug 15, 2015So yesterday I went out in my car and figured I wanted to listen to my music on my phone. Normally, I would listen to my music via bluetooth in my parents car but since my car stereo doesn't have bluetooth capability, I had to use USB. I didn't think I needed Bluetooth at the time I bought it since my iPhone that I had before worked flawlessly via USB. The stereo is an aftermarket Pioneer X35UI and all I get on the stereo is USB N/A. I was wondering if there was some sort of software/ workaround that would possibly make this possible to listen via USB. I could always listen via 3.5 mm jack but I wouldn't be able to control the music through the car. I would have to fumble around in my phone which is not good in a driving situation.

Jun 23, 2012My iphone 4s has been updated to the iOS 5.1.1. Since then it will not play music or give a text message alert sound. We have restored the phone, we have toggled the mute switch, and we have rebooted using the home button and power down and nothing has worked. The volume does not adjust, there is no sound bar when pressing the sound control buttons along the side of the phone. When double tapping the home button on lock screen there is no sound bar. It will ring on incoming calls and the Speaker phone does work while in call. All of the volume controls will work correctly when the headphones are in music plays, text tone works, video sound works but as soon as they are removed it reverts back.

May 26, 2012My iPhone 4 has not been able to play music or video through my speakers. It thinks it is still connected to my iHome, so it trys to play anything through the charge port which of course no sound comes out. Can anyone help me with this issue? I can still play through my headphones and it will play through my Apple TV if I tell it to, but I just can't get any sound to come through the speakers.

Huawei Nexus 6P :: USB Audio Downsampling To Mono
Nov 1, 2015I have a Leckerton UHA-6S.mkii external DAC/amp that I use for highly sensitive IEMs, since the noise floor with the stock chip on phones is too high, and the volume steps on android go from silent to deadly loud at volume step 2. I have successfully used it with my old Nexus 5 with no issues, but as soon as I upgraded to 6.0 on the Nexus 5, I noticed the output was downsampled to mono and sounded quite bad. I wasn't sure if this was my custom kernel (ElementalX on the Nexus 5) at the time, so instead of troubleshooting, I waited until I got my 6P in.
Unfortunately I'm having the same issue; USB audio output to the DAC is still being downsampled to mono and sounds pretty bad. How to resolve this? Is this a software bug in 6.0, or is there a setting that I can change?

I was currently on call using free call from Kakaotalk app, I'm using my earphone atm , and on the same time I got pm from the facebook , the notification sound is there and right away all other sound went off . I can't hear my friend's voice while on kakaotalk . The sound won't play also on the music player , soundcloud and games . There is sound when I make normal call . And when notification in , there only vibrate . The volume is up , but its like my phone is in silent mode . I try restarting the phone but it all the same , nothing chnged .
