BB Curve :: Mp3 Plays Mono Not Stereo With Car Cassette Adapter
Jan 23, 2012
have a blackberry curve 9350
when I play through stereo via aux it is fine but when played through car cassette adapter plugged into the headphone jack it plays only half the sound on half the car speakers in mono?
When i play music through the headphones and through the car stereo it plays sound in mono. I was just wondering if this is what the iphone does or is mines broken?
Since I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....
Has anyone figured out how to get stereo sound out of the 2.5 mm jack on a Samsung Intensity? I have obtained several different "stereo" adapters for 3.5 mm headphones, and I still get either mono sound or sound out of only one channel.
I have a stereo with no bluetooth, but would like to stream Pandora or other music from my phone to the stereo. Now, I use an aux. cable from the headphone jack to the aux on the stereo, but I hate having the cable running from the phone to the stereo. Anybody know of a bluetooth adapter that plugs into a stereo to do this?
I know this is an old phone, but I like it and plan to keep it a while longer. It works well; however, I just purchased a 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio adapter for it.I can not get the adapter to work with standard stereo headphones. When I attach them there is no sound in the headphones and music is still playing from the phone's internal speaker. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong so any pointers would be helpful.
I have an iPhone 4 and want to use it to hook up to an aftermarket Pioneer stereo via USB. I was wondering if anyone has already done this and if anyone has had any issues. I don't have the stereo yet because I am a little wary of incompatibility because I have heard that iOS 4 has some issues with car stereos. Let me know if you have done this or if you have gotten it to work.
I was listening to music on my Blackberry, and leant on it. Somehow, I managed to make the music fastforward so that four seconds of the song is played in one actual second. I've tried everything to stop this, I've stopped the song, played other songs, turned the phone on and off again, and yet the same thing happens.
I really can't do without my music and I use my blackberry as an ipod, so I have no other alternative.
when i hit the play/pause button it plays an old downloaded voice message. now i only preview these, but I have downloaded a couple and they still play sometimes. i can't find them to delete them.
one of the main reasons I bought a BB was to replace my ipod. In my car I have a pioneer stereo in the dash with a usb hook up. Great I thought I can just plug in the BB to the stereo and blast my tunes. It does not work however...
I am able to send and receive my emails but no sound plays for them I have went though all the sound settings and set every thing the same and waiting for my battery to charge to test it see if that fixes it or not.
ok so i found a usb network adapter that would fit my blackberry i knoe that my blackberry dosnt suport wireless internet but is there any way i could use the network adapter to acess the internet. or is it possible to creat a bluetooth modem on my computer and acess the internet via bluetooth on my phone?
I have had my ATT BB 8310 for almost a year and recently bought a Motorokr S9 Bluetooth Stereo Headset to use at the gym. (tired of getting tied-up in the wire!) Anyway, I successfully paired the S9 and everything works (Phone audio, music controls, etc.) except the music still comes out of the BB! I called Moto and they said it should work (I have 4.5.0.182 in the BB). When I power-up the S9, I get a connection message on the BB saying Successfully Connected and green checks for Hands-Free, Stereo Audio, and A/V Remote Control. But the music still plays out of the BB, not the S9.
I have a Leckerton UHA-6S.mkii external DAC/amp that I use for highly sensitive IEMs, since the noise floor with the stock chip on phones is too high, and the volume steps on android go from silent to deadly loud at volume step 2. I have successfully used it with my old Nexus 5 with no issues, but as soon as I upgraded to 6.0 on the Nexus 5, I noticed the output was downsampled to mono and sounded quite bad. I wasn't sure if this was my custom kernel (ElementalX on the Nexus 5) at the time, so instead of troubleshooting, I waited until I got my 6P in.
Unfortunately I'm having the same issue; USB audio output to the DAC is still being downsampled to mono and sounds pretty bad. How to resolve this? Is this a software bug in 6.0, or is there a setting that I can change?
I have an iPhone 4 pushing bluetooth to a Kenwood KDC-X994. The calls work fine but music only plays on the front speakers. I have checked all settings on the Kenwood and its all setup. If I plug the iPhone in via USB stereo no problem. So how do I get it to play in stereo over bluetooth?
I tried to pair my curve 8530 with a bluetooth adapter on my win7 64bit machine. but got a message saying it could not install the bluetooth peripheral driver. and now my bluetooth headset can no longer connect to my phone, it says cannot connect to audio device, and it cant see the headset when i search for it.
Is there any way to have my "plain" bluetooth headset that is NOT A2DP stereo to playback music etc? Basically I want to listed to podcasts & books so I don't care about music or stereo. My BB Bold used to do it. My iPhone 3Gs is jailbroken.
My iphone 4 plays the same songs over and over in my playlist. there are plenty of songs that it hasn't played and it repeats ones that has already played. i see that there is an app called true shuffle pro for $4.99. but my should i have to pay for this when i have already paid for so much and this seems like an easy fix in the software. seems like once again apple continues. to monopolize its software so you have to purchase higher upgrade phones and apps.
It started yesterday and it's really rather annoying. It is a video i've never seen before and it isn't in my video library either. The video itself seems to have something to do with vampires and also has a song playing. Has anyone else experienced this/ know how to stop it.
I have taken video recently, in Landscape mode, however....when I play it back on the phone and/or Chromecast, it will only play in portrait mode. WHY?
I was never a fan alarm clocks, the awful alarms they sounds are certainly no way to start the day. My CD radio alarm clock is slowly starting to pack in and I figure my iPhone4 can do the same thing. Can anyone recommend an alarm app that randomly picks music from my library and plays it back until I make it stop? There seem to be pretty decent ones like iHome but as I understand it you pick what it plays - I quickly take a disliking to songs that wake me up too often and manually changing the playlist is a bit of a hassle.
I have a new iPhone 5S which plays music at a much quieter volume than the radio in the car with the stereo at the same level. My old iPhone 4S is fine and plays music very loudly, but both my new and previous 5S phones had the same problem. Even if I turn the car's stereo system up to full volume neither 5S phone produce loud music. I have a new Volvo XC60 and all the phones and the car have the all the most recent available software updates. I usually use the phone on Bluetooth but I get the same problem if I switch the input source over to iPod and Aux. The phone settings have Sound Check, EQ and Volume Limit all switched off and the Volume Limit set at maximum.Â
I am hoping you guys can give me some insight as to what is going on. The other day, I got a phone call, and when I pressed the ignore, a song started playing. Now, more about the situation, I have OS 5.0, and my phone was on silent. The song played after pressing ignore is not a song on my blackberry that I am aware of, not my ring tones or music I've put on here. So, I don't know how the music started, why, but I couldn't get it to stop either. I had to do a battery pull to get it to stop. Anyone have any clues to get this to never happen again?
I've been waiting to test this out for months now to see if this upgraded phone could pull the ultimate for my particular home theater setup. I use handbrake to encode my DVD and Blu-ray collection and since I'm not big on watching things on the go and would much rather have a great picture and 5.1 audio, I use the AppleTV preset and not the universal. Before neither the 3G or 3GS would play this format, but to my extreme happiness the iPhone 4 comes through with brilliant playback. This means that I don't have to bother with two different files again! I tested my most recent encodes and they are perfect.
Since my May 2011 update, once every two or so days, a song I don't know plays through my phone. You can't turn it off. I don't know where it is playing from.
Every time I listen to music videos on my s5 via YouTube app it doesn't load after the first video. I use 4g LTE when I'm in the car. First video plays but after that it doesn't load right. Video plays for 2 seconds then loads etc. I have full bars on at&t. Is it the app? It is really pissing me off and I may have to go back to iPhone..
I bought the Z5 yesterday and if I hold down the power button, my ringtone starts playing. Â If I hold it down again, it will start playing again over the other ringtone and my only option is to use the rocker button to silence it but when I turn the volume back up it will still be playing so my only option to stop it is to restart. Â This is everytime I hold down the power button.
