I just wanted to ask if there is some app or something to make my edge glow while screen off.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just bought the 6760 slide and when it is closed there is a glowing light that constantly goes on and off around the navi keys. I am sure this is draining the battery but have no idea how to turn it off. Any help would be much appreciated thank you!

I understand lots of people have had the same problem, but I just cannot find a solution which works for my Blackberry 8520!It has a white screen showing nothing, it boots once you put the battery in, and the only way to power it off is to take out the battery, I think it also keeps rebooting.I have replaced the screen - still white screen.I have re-installed the OS - still white screen
View 14 Replies View Relatedwas in the middle of updating my blackberry and it came up with a message saying it had failed, so I unplugged my phone and from then onwards it gets stuck on the reboot screen and I cannot use my phone. All that happens is that the white bar at the bottom (the one that shows how much longer the reboot is going to be) , when it gets to the end instead of starting up my phone it just stays like it and nothing happens for a while. Then a white screen comes up and says " app error 200 "

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch since early January, and there is no water or physical damage to it. Everything's been working spectacularly until today. This morning I changed the security settings for the AT&T Live TV app and the Pandora app. It then asked for a reboot, which I allowed. The phone turns off, back on to the reboot screen (with the BB logo and "BlackBerry") along with the reboot loading bar on the bottomThe thing is, the bar loads completely and that's it, it stays frozen there Nothing else loads. I took out the battery and retried. Several times. Now I am just letting it sit there, load bar completely loaded, having done nothing but be frozen for about an hour now.

View 11 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to reset my blackberry it will freeze at 75% and the screen will go off and it will do it all over again, when I connect my bb to desktop software it will come up with a message saying the device software needs updating during the update it says "reconnecting to JVM" and the desktop software will disconnect my blackberry is there anyway to stop this from happening.
View 1 Replies View RelatedBecause my first Blackberry Curve 8530 would not go passed the reboot screen, they sent me another one, once I connected it to my Blackberry Desktop Software in order to add my contacts and other backup information, it caused my Blackberry to shut down and now it will not go pass the reboot screen. It will finish, but then it will turn off and the process starts all over again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry curve will power on and boot but as soon as it gets to the main screen, it locks. If I hit any button, the screen goes black and I am not able to do anything. I have removed the battery several times. It comes up with a meeting reminder and as soon as I try to get rid of it everything is locked....
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't get passed my reboot screen, I have tried taking out the battery many times, tried downloading the software update and also tried putting in the original software from AT&T and it still freezes on the reboot screen near the end. I downloaded a software called "blackberry Swiss army kit" and I still got nothing done. Everything installs but when it reboots its freezes at the same spot.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a S6 G920I last week, and I had to return it because the home button was kind of loose, and it was making a fun noise every time I pressed it. Now I have the replacement working fine, but I noticed something rather odd.
When I restart the phone, if I enter my SIM pin and unlock the device immediately after restarting (i.e. without letting the device to turn off the screen) I'm getting overly saturated screen colors, to the point that my wallpaper looks completely different.
The problem goes away after turning the screen off and on, but it's very weird this is happening. I've seen several issues with the S6 screen on the forum but nothing like this.
I'm adding the steps to reproduce (old habit from my QA days) just in case you have time to check it on your device:
1. Press and hold the power button
2. Tap on Restart
3. Immediately after the device restarts, enter you SIM pin (if needed). Don't let the screen turn off.
4. Unlock the device
After step 4. I'm seeing the device with a completely different screen color. Blacks are way too black, and generally looking very weird. As I said the problem goes away after turning off and on the screen.
I'm adding some (very low quality) pictures, so maybe you can notice the issue. In the normal picture, you can see some diamond shapes in the wallpaper, but in the saturated image you can't because of the high contrast colors.

Reboot complete (main screen/carrier logo) First Time and Device Usable Second Time
Minutes:Seconds
3:13 - 3:37 Custom Theme
3:11 - 3:25 Default Carrier Theme
Theme's have no real effect from what I've noticed. Unless you have a really big gfx intense theme.
3:13 - 3:23 Password
3:13 - 3:25 Password + wallpaper on mem card
7:09 - 7:21 "Memory Clean Turned on" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card Re-test (that was way too long)
6:36 - 6:45 "Memory Clean Already On" + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card.
3:23 - 3:45 "Encrytion Media Card Only" + BerryWeather + Theme + password + wallpaper on mem card + Mem Compression Memory Clean and Encrytion (Device Memory Enabled) either one of those on will increase reboot time by atleast 2-3mins. When enabling Device Memory encryption Memory Clean is automatically turned on and can't be disabled. So in my testing reboot time was between 6-7mins. My current config setup is that last test. Since Password is on, I see no need for Device Memory encryption to be on. Without the password you can't gain access to device files. ZonaSnap , QuickLaunch, Blink all preloaded during each test. 8 Email Accounts, about 80 read emails, and 100+ sms, 41 apps anyone that is getting 1-2min reboot please post your settings.
