I just restored my phone and setup my MobileMe account on my phone, it accepted my password, and made turn all the toggles were set to "on." My calendars/bookmarks/contacts are not being synced to my phone. I checked me.com and everything is on there and on my computer, but not my phone.

Just upgraded to the 4S. I set it up by "restoring" to the last backup on the Cloud, but for some reason, in the "Settings" panel, the iCloud option is grayed out. This is also the case for all of my individual email addresses under "Mail, Contacts,..." I called support and they just made me reset my password - twice - which hasn't done anything but annoy me.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI was on the driving range today when a storm blew in. I usually have my phone in my pocket with the screen towards my leg. I keep it in an otter box commuter case. Well it was screen out and I got water in the screen. I am looking for a way to sync all contacts and calendar entries from all accounts (corporate sync, yahoo, etc...). I will want to put this on the new phone I get next week through my insurance.
The phone is not damaged in any other way. Just the screen is getting condensation and it is growing to a larger area of the screen. I figure I have paid more than enough insurance premiums to get a replacement phone.
PS This is the first time I really miss having a blackberry. You just plug in your phone, open desktop manager, and click prepare to transfer to new phone. It backs everything up don't to text messages.
I was wondering if there is a way to have seperate folders for email addresses and phone numbers?It just feels so unorganized with them all together.

Have been using the Exchange ActiveSync for my work email but with the Sync Contacts option set to No. There are contacts on my Exchange address books that I would like to have on my Nokia N8 but I am concerned it will wipe out my existing personal contacts and/or sync my personal contacts already on the phone to my company Exchange server. If I switch On the Exchange ActiveSync - Sync Contacts option does it keep the Exchange contacts separate from my personal? Is this possible at all?

I recently had a repair done to my iphone. Afterword, I was told that I had to restore the os. I downloaded and installed the latest version (3.1.3) through itunes.
When it attempted to activate the phone I got an error message saying the phone either had no sim or the sim was locked and instructing me to disconnect the phone and unlock the sim.
My sim does have a pin, but the phone itself won't allow me to unlock it. It says 'restore needed' and directs me to itunes.
It seems like a catch 22 - can't activate without unlocking the pin, can't unlock the pin without activating. As it is, I can't use the phone at all.

My iPhone stopped charging right after it said I needed to update to the 5.1.1 software. Anyone else having these problems. I had my phone plugged into the charger it was on like 20 % it charged up untill it said I needed to update my software to 5.1.1 and never charged from then on. On my Windows Mobile phones I can run an application called Bandswitch which lets me select whether I want a 2g or 3g connection. Since the Iphone doesn't have stellar battery life to begin with, such an application would really help me conserve my power usage.
