I just restored my phone and setup my MobileMe account on my phone, it accepted my password, and made turn all the toggles were set to "on." My calendars/bookmarks/contacts are not being synced to my phone. I checked me.com and everything is on there and on my computer, but not my phone.

I recently added two new calendars (bringing my total up to ten), but neither will show up on either my iPhone or iPad. I have tried unsyncing, and resyncing my calendar data, to no effect. Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of calendars that can be synced?

So I tried what was suggested to me as far as adding my facebook account to the social networking app in my xprt and still the contacts have not linked. Nor did it give me a sync option when adding my facebook account. When I first purchased the xprt and added fb the contacts synced,I had to remove it and add it again do to being hacked. Could this be the reason? I know this is pretty ocd for something so small,I just really want my google contacts to sync with fb

Just upgraded to the 4S. I set it up by "restoring" to the last backup on the Cloud, but for some reason, in the "Settings" panel, the iCloud option is grayed out. This is also the case for all of my individual email addresses under "Mail, Contacts,..." I called support and they just made me reset my password - twice - which hasn't done anything but annoy me.

We have an apple family consisting of an iPhone 4, iPad2, and an iphone 3G which we just upgraded to an iPhone 4 today. When we were setting up the new iPhone 4 to connect to iCloud and our apple ID we accidentally merged all the contacts via iCloud from both iPhones into 1 large contact list (the same list on both phones). We keep separate contact lists for our phones, but use iCloud to sync everything else together. I already figured out how to turn off the syncing of the contacts, but is there any way to revert/delete or however you want to word it, the contacts list back to each phone having only their original contacts? When I turned off the contact syncing in the iCloud settings it did ask if I wanted to keep the contacts from icloud or delete them so out of fear of it deleting ALL my contacts I tapped Yes to keep them (probably the wrong choice there). On my wife's new phone it is no big deal, I just manually deleted the 20 or so contacts that were added from my phone, but she has 100+ contacts that are now on my phone that I would rather not delete one by one manually. I also figure I could just do a restore from a backup on my phone through iTunes, but its been a while since I did one and I would end up loosing recent data and contacts so that isn't an option.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI was on the driving range today when a storm blew in. I usually have my phone in my pocket with the screen towards my leg. I keep it in an otter box commuter case. Well it was screen out and I got water in the screen. I am looking for a way to sync all contacts and calendar entries from all accounts (corporate sync, yahoo, etc...). I will want to put this on the new phone I get next week through my insurance.
The phone is not damaged in any other way. Just the screen is getting condensation and it is growing to a larger area of the screen. I figure I have paid more than enough insurance premiums to get a replacement phone.
PS This is the first time I really miss having a blackberry. You just plug in your phone, open desktop manager, and click prepare to transfer to new phone. It backs everything up don't to text messages.

My son has an iPhone that he was syncing on his ex-girlfriends PC. He needs to add some birdsong files for school but when I try to sync on my PC it tells me the phone will be erased. I have turned off the sync option for everything except the music and I set that to manual and only the files that are clicked. We don't care if he looses other music.
