How does someone sign up for a future Soak Test? I know its probably a definately NO to signing up for the ICS 4.x soak test on Droid RAZR on Verizon since RAZR/RAZR Maxx users are already getting emails. Im not worried about that. But, in the future, i would like to be part of a grand list of possible random number of select people to be part of a soak test for 4.1.x or 4.2.x or 5.0 Jellybean or whatever.
I want to upload map on my Nokia 5230, there is a problem. when i connect my device to PC and searching map via Nokia Map Uploader. The map uploader searches all Countries map's but mt country's map could not be searched.
Whats the difference in connecting the phone to a2 uploader using "c" key and "2+5" keys..? which type is more appropriate for flashing. (if there is any difference) and also for patching... Pls.. anyone can clear this doubt..?
I'm running Windows7 and downloaded A2uploader. However it wont let me make it full screen and so I just have scroll along, which is annoying and there is more chance I will make a mistake. Any reason for this? It worked previously on XP.
I have sony k510i. Its details are: Baseband ID: DB2010 OTP CID: 49 EROM CID: 49 EROM Color: Red IMEI: 35434301xxxxxx Phone ID: K510 Network: INDIA DA: CDA102460/138 R1A Firmware Version: R4EA031
I want to change its camera driver. But when I try do so using latest a2 uploader it gives error in the beginning of phone identification. Screenshot is attached below. I have used this a2uploader for my C510 with red CID and it works well but K510i doesn't do. Please tell me what is this problem - "loader on loader" bad result 00/00?
Since it can't output 720p, how will we be able to watch any video you shoot in full 720p on an LCD tv?I have apple tv.if I transfer video over to it will it play in full resolution?
i shot a video and uploaded it to Internet. it uploaded with 320p and 240p, but not 720p. i looked in the settings of the iphone and didn't see a settings option to make the video a specific quality.
Tried converting multiple programs over multiple files spending multiple hours with no result. Every time I try to add to iPhone 4, it says "the file can't be played on this device"(or something like that!)
love my ip4 and i'm using it to shoot family home movies as one would expect, and using imovie to create 5 minute projects that are really enjoyable.i'd like to post these 720p hd movies online so family members can stream without them being downconverted and having their resolutions compromised.
i've tried Internet and it took 25 minutes to upload and the end result was a blurry mess of downconversion. is there a way to stream the pure hd i'm shooting? mobileme? Internet? some other solution for hosted hd streaming of short iphone 4 clips without a loss of resolution?
So the concept of the video on iPhone 4 being 720p is great.I just wonder if people here can answer:
1.) how much space will 720p video take on the device? I'm taking a vacation on the 17th of july and I'd like this to replace a camcorder
2.) assuming I don't roam on the phone (said vacation is in philippines) then how much battery life will this kill assuming I don't render video on the device and just record and play back.
Can anyone with experience on how big these files are give an estimate how much video the new iPhone will hold at 720p, 30fps? Its the main reason I'm upgrading and just wanted to know if 32gig's held hours or minutes worth of video. I suspect the latter....
i've read several threads. i understand you can't upload directly from the iphone. i downloaded the video to my mac, and now the video is sitting there in iphoto. what do i do to get it to upload 720p to Internet?
Is there any way of transferring 720p vids from the camera roll to pc wirelessly without compressing them? Airsharing compresses them poorly. Not sure about FTP on the go. Anyone know of a way of doing it? I dont mind paying a few quid
I recently had a repair done to my iphone. Afterword, I was told that I had to restore the os. I downloaded and installed the latest version (3.1.3) through itunes.
When it attempted to activate the phone I got an error message saying the phone either had no sim or the sim was locked and instructing me to disconnect the phone and unlock the sim.
My sim does have a pin, but the phone itself won't allow me to unlock it. It says 'restore needed' and directs me to itunes.
It seems like a catch 22 - can't activate without unlocking the pin, can't unlock the pin without activating. As it is, I can't use the phone at all.
My wife and I both have iPhones and use the same iTunes account and pc but need to keep our contacts and calendars separate. At the moment we seem to have merged both. How do we keep these information files separate?
One of our users has an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.5. Their PC at home which they use to synchronise music, photos, etc is broken and they need to upgrade to iOS 5.1, which I could do here in the office, but iTunes says "all content" would be lost. How can I update their iPhone to iOS 5.1 without losing any content?
So suddenly my iphone told me it could not emit or receive calls and that I needed to restore the phone; this I attempted to do, following the apple site's instructions - recharge for at least half an hour then hold down (various) buttons to get the broken apple image; so far, so good. However, nothing ever progressed beyond this point and now three days on, I am nable to elicit even the apple sign from the phone.
