Whats the difference in connecting the phone to a2 uploader using "c" key and "2+5" keys..? which type is more appropriate for flashing. (if there is any difference) and also for patching... Pls.. anyone can clear this doubt..?

I want to change its camera driver. But when I try do so using latest a2 uploader it gives error in the beginning of phone identification. Screenshot is attached below.
I have used this a2uploader for my C510 with red CID and it works well but K510i doesn't do. Please tell me what is this problem - "loader on loader" bad result 00/00?
I have converted the mp4 file format, and have set the parameter as below
Video Encode= MPEG4(Xvid)
Video size = 320*240
Bitrate = 480
Frame rate = 29.97
Aspect ratio = 4.3
When I try to transfer the file into my memory stick it load this message "the file type is not supported in this device".

I've seen very interesting things as acoustic mods (to increase the sound if I've well understand) and camera drivers. The most important things for me actually. But like every times for every things I've got problems x). I've seen Brazzuka's Camera Drivers, and I've tried to install it. To do that I've search tutorials, of course I've found them. I've tried "Far", but after my phone is connected, I'm said that a problem occurred and that it's not possible to connect my phone.

So it do not work with my phone. I've tried with A2Uploader, but I had again a problem. As you can see, I've connected my phone, and after this A2uploader load, but after a few seconds it say time elapsed and ready. Nothing else.

I installed all the necessary programs and drivers, created an .xml file (for generic American version), transferred it to phone, tried SE Update Service, no go. Says I already have the newest software. I tried creating a new .xml file, but this time using Western Europe instead of America. Still, Update Service says my software is new enough. Then I tried going back and creating a generic American .xml and using Update Service to reinstall my OS, but that only reinstalled the old and customized AT&T OS which is what I'm trying to get rid of. So my questions are: 1) I was sort of reluctant to debrand in the first place, but what is the worst thing that can happen if debranding fails? 2) Is there some other CDA number I can use (instead of America/W. Europe) and still be able to use my phone with my service provider? Perhaps Central or Eastern Europe?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have followed these steps: Generated CDA. Nordic language! Then followed these steps! Upload "customize_upgrade.xml" to your phone and make the CDA change. So you have generated the file and you want to get on with it? Well I'll make this as short as possible.
1. Open A2uploader.
2. Click "FileSystem Tool". Re-insert the battery of your phone then connect your USB holding '2+5' keys. Release keys '2+5' when A2uploader detects your phone.
3. Browse to "/tpa/preset/custom/". Drag and drop the "customize_upgrade.xml" file to the right pane of A2uploader.
4. Click "Shutdown FS Manager".
5. Disconnect USB cable and turn on phone. You will notice a "Please Wait" prompt. This is when the CDA is changing. When the prompt is gone, turn off your phone.
But SEUS cannot find any new firmware still? What revision should the the Customize upgrade be?

I used phone and noticed the battery indicator showing 1 red bar the phone bleeped low battery and turned off. I've done all normal trouble shooting tips still the same. View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title implies, I need to ask if there are varying kinds of Sony Ericsson LCD screens for the G705 or if there are variations in models made. Nearly 6 months ago I bought a Sony Ericsson G705 phone off eBay that only needed a new LCD screen. Well I purchased a screen off eBaand was good to go except for a few minor issues...
1.) The LCD screen had a thicker screen/border than the original so I had to mod it by taking off the white border around it.
2.) The ribbon that connects the LCD screen to the G705's keypad wasn't aligned correctly causing it to disconnect from the keypad every so often. This too I had to fix by sticking some paper underneath where the connector sits. It worked after the modifications but the end result is the keypad was raised causing issues where pushing the up key would force it to push the left key too. Unfortunately after awhile the screen stopped working likely due to the fact the different layers were separating. I gave in and bought a new screen from an online dealer elsewhere just to get scammed in the end with a broken LCD screen which they refused to replace claiming I cracked it. So now I've purchased a new screen of eBay yet this one has issues too, it's thinner than the first one I got, but has the same problem where the ribbon doesn't appear to be aligned correctly either. This time however, I get some ugly dead pixels in the lower left corner of the screen and the rest is completely jumbled with white lines going through it. I've already contacted the seller for an exchange and am about to lose all hope getting this phone working. Anyway, back to the topic. Do the screens in the G705 vary from region to region or between versions? When I got it I found the phone was from Hong Kong (firmware was HK anyway.) though the manual and included paperwork suggested it was from France. The screens I have purchased seemed to have varying differences between either the thickness is too wide, the ribbon doesn't fit the correct position, or some other incompatibility. I bought this phone.
Please help someone I have encountered my first Elm problem. Over night I charged the phone & this morning it's still charging & will not pass 66% charge. I took battery out put back in & charged with the phone off for another hour. When switched back on it was now @ 65% This was after another hour of charging with the phone off. I then did a master reset of all not just settings. Charged it up again for a further hour & still the charge is not increasing. Please help what the hell is going on? This battery has a mind of it's own. I have a feeling something has occured since I kept plugging & unplugging quite often the phone in & out of my pc. So maybe it's caused this I do not know.
