I have converted the mp4 file format, and have set the parameter as below
Video Encode= MPEG4(Xvid)
Video size = 320*240
Bitrate = 480
Frame rate = 29.97
Aspect ratio = 4.3
When I try to transfer the file into my memory stick it load this message "the file type is not supported in this device".
well i used to be able to play the exclusive xperia play before example like and after the update to 2.3.3 i cant . i can download games but after i download it from the experia play app wihch leads me to the gameloft but when i go to my downloads and click on the game it says rom file type is not supported and before it use to install but not now. any ideas what that means and i can download the exclusive xperia play games from the xperia play app that lead me to the android market but not no other games?

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy mother’s Sony Ericsson K800i died (white screen). She's got some photos on her memory stick (Memory Stick Micro) which she hadn't backed up recently. I read somewhere that someone with a white screen problem was unable to access their memory card using their PC software. So I loaned her my memory card reader and M2 adapter as I figured there'd be no problem with getting her more recent photos off the memory card.
We've tried the memory card reader in two machines: XP and Vista but it comes up with the same message about formatting the card. No way do we want to format the card because we want the data off it. Unfortunately, we don’t know anyone else who has a K800 or any phone which takes the same memory card to borrow so we get the photos off Mum’s memory card. Does anyone know of anything else we could try?
I have a C902 mobile phone. I have a video saved on my computer which I have converted to a 3GP file and an MP4 file. I copy and paste the video into the "video" folder on my phone using the USB cable. But then the video does not appear on my phone. What am I doing wrong? I have managed to save the video on my phone now in 3GP format. It shows as a thumbnail, gives the correct length etc. But when I want to play it, it says "playback failed".
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't use File Manager properly on W508a. When I press Options the only menu that comes up is for shortcuts! I want to transfer files from the phone to the card. Also I can't use the walkman function for files on the card, so I have to keep the phone open to listen to files on the card. The only way I can move files around is by doing it on the computer - which defeats the purpose. If I press options in any mode (I have just found this out as I have only just got this phone) the only menu I get is Shortcuts. Is this my fault or is it the phone?

1. When I trying to export photo in Picassa example to my PC desktop, its gives me an error: Unable to write all files due to Disk Error.
2. When I trying to rotate photo with Windows Photo Viewer, its says: there's problem with Picture File properties.
First I thought maybe is problem in Picasa or in Windows7, but with photos, taken half an year ago, everything is OK! I have checked twice all camera settings in Vivaz, didn't find nothing. Camera settings has been all the time the same: HD (16:9), Google Geo etc. Here is one photo with problems for downloading.
I have some troubles trying to transfer videos into my phone and I keep getting the error "Cannot read from source file.". I was able to transfer videos into my phone in the past without any problems until this started. Could it be something wrong with my USB or SD card?
