Sony Ericsson :: Zylo W20 PC Companion Error With File Manager
I just install PC companion for my new Zylo w20 and only file manager window is not working (not opening).I realize that because i connect my old SE k550i an that window was working properly and i was dragging and drooping files to my phone.What should i do so i can properly use these program for my new phone.

Sony Ericsson :: W508a - Cannot Use File Manager Properly
I can't use File Manager properly on W508a. When I press Options the only menu that comes up is for shortcuts! I want to transfer files from the phone to the card. Also I can't use the walkman function for files on the card, so I have to keep the phone open to listen to files on the card. The only way I can move files around is by doing it on the computer - which defeats the purpose. If I press options in any mode (I have just found this out as I have only just got this phone) the only menu I get is Shortcuts. Is this my fault or is it the phone?

Sony Ericsson :: W810i - Greater Capacity Memory Card / File Manager Function
I've had this phone about four or five years, I think. I use the radio and walkman functions more than I use it as a phone. 1. It's got a 512mb stick in it and I'd like to replace it with something with greater capacity - say 4gb or 8gb - do I can put a lot more stuff on it. I spoke to Maplin about a new stick and the chap there said, if the phone is that sort of age, I might be able to go up only to a 1gb or 2gb and should check. Does anyone know the answer please? 2. The handbook (which I have just downloaded) talks about a file manager function, but I can't see it on my phone - is this a problem? 3. I have gone through all the menus and can't see a function to let me format a new memory stick - can I use one without formatting it?

I need to be to get the Zylo up and running. Big thanks to Jay in Customer services. I am about to purchase a DCU 60 data cable and want the genuine article so I looked at the SE site. Has anyone bought a DCU 60 via the internet? Lastly, this Zylo of mine has one feature that drives me nuts. Despite me trying everything, unless I keep pressing keys, the screen goes blank after around 10 secs. It is an absolute pain when I am browsing or reading/sending texts or e-mails.

Wher is one of the best and the most handy SE options - adding songs to playlist in audio player stright from their destination folder? I just want to add some songs which location I know. searchin for one bl**dy song between 2000 other tittles is just ridiculous. Options provided by SE vivaz pro symbian software are just useless. Its easier to remember name of folder containing 100 songs than to learn by heart 100 tittles with artists names. I got used to listening to one huge set of e.g. house shared on 10 parts but in some way vivaz pro player spreadet them on the begining , midlle and end of ALL bout 2500 songs list. Is it possible to create some software update fixing this ridiculous mistake? maby there already is sth like that?

Sony Ericsson :: Zylo - Ear Speaker Totally Silent
I recently purchased a Zylo handset from the Orange Shop. It worked fine until yesterday but now the ear speaker is totally silent on both incoming and outgoing calls. I have checked the loud speaker, which is fine as is the microphone. There appears to be no other issue with the handset at all. Is there some sort of option I have accidentally turned on?

I bought the Zylo almost two months ago and I'm already having a problem with it. First of all, I can't hear a call from the handset itself, I have to speak from the speaker. Which is very inconvenient. The Service centre was not very helpful. He said check up from so and so date to check when the spares come in.i have to wait till the store opens and then call up and check when my phone can be repaired. Second problem that cropped up today is that my menu button does not work when the slide is open. My software is up-to-date as I updates it two days ago. Also I find the battery life very weak, isn't this supposed to be a walkman phone? I am outraged to find such problems with an SE phone so early into use. This has never been manhandled, why the problem then?

Sony Ericsson Zylo or W200i(I have no idea which one is it), is one phone which I worpship a lot! It have crystal sounds, great mp3 player, videos are so cool as well and the camera not to mention is awesome as well. One day I was at my grandma to help her with some stuff, and while listening to radio I was wandering, why zylo can be radio and have radio antennas, but not being mini TV and not have some sort of antena for television? I searched a lot on google to find out for any sort of telephone having TV with antenna or something, and I came out with this thing called "TV Tuner". I searched a lot about Zylo if can have it or if I need to buy it and implement it like the recharging thing but still no clue. Then I searched only if any sony ericsson have at all this TV Tuner thing and I found only those "X10i" and "SO903i". So the big question is, why Zylo can have such clear videos(I convert movies or videos to small format and send them to memory card), but no TV at all? Is there a way to implement it or to make a tuner for people like me, which need to watch the sport, news and such after having a break from driving a car or bike on long distance. I hope such thing can be made and sold, this will be awsome to buy and have!

I have a Zylo phone & am able to charge, with a USB cable, from my laptop. My friend just purchased an Amzer solar charger. When I connect both devices, & turn on the charger, the phone shows the USB icon. However, the battery icon does not indicate it is taking a charge.

I am having a trouble with my Zylo phone. When I get the sms the phone does not recognize the number and display the sender's name. I was not having this issue from the beginning. From about a week's time I'm facing this issue. Also it is not happening for all the numbers. Only for few numbers the phone is not recognizing the contact. (I have checked the contact and both the name and number are present). When I clock the options and select Use Number and when I select the Call option, the phone recognizes the number and displays the name of the person when calling. However the SMS is not recognizing the number.

I have problem with my SE Zylo (W20i). I have no sound on incoming call.I cant hear the one calling me. They can hear me though . Hands free works fine, speaker phone works fine. It is only the actual phone that is totally off? Any thoughts? Might be an easy solution that I have missed but right now im stuck.

I have a real problem at sliding when I slide down the buttons are enlighted(the control ones : up, down, left, right, answer, hang up and the other two ) , BUT when i slide up they are not anymore I also tried to see in the dark how do i manage to use the cellphone and it does't work quite well I hope you can find something that will help me I also have to tell that I updated the cellphone once to the final update and I also master reseted it. I added two pictures that I think would help you understand the problem. I hope you will find a solution that will work for this. I surely don't want to wait 2 weeks before it comes out from the service for it because this minor problem.

I was trying to remove the SMS limit on my W800i using Far Manager and Darkmens flash plugin ( http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=123260&start=0 ). I could connect the phone to the computer just fine but when trying to open the FS-directory I got this error message: "Script fs_mode execution error! I have modded my K800i phone and loud the sound, improve the camera but I have replace Menu.ml file to have new menu. When I turn on my K800i and want to go to menu this message appear (errors occur in the menu.ml file. This may render the menu unusable). The menu can be accessed but there is no IMAGE for the menu. My problem that I don't know where to upload the images of the menu in the XS 3.2 software. I just drag and drop menu.ml to tpa/preset/system/menu.

Recently I started problems with photos taken with my Vivaz: 1. When I trying to export photo in Picassa example to my PC desktop, its gives me an error: Unable to write all files due to Disk Error. 2. When I trying to rotate photo with Windows Photo Viewer, its says: there's problem with Picture File properties. First I thought maybe is problem in Picasa or in Windows7, but with photos, taken half an year ago, everything is OK! I have checked twice all camera settings in Vivaz, didn't find nothing. Camera settings has been all the time the same: HD (16:9), Google Geo etc. Here is one photo with problems for downloading.

Sony Ericsson :: K800i Error During And After Flashing Firmware And File System
I tried installing Number1's modded display driver v1.0. What happened is that I had a plain blank bright white screen. There was sound and I can play music using the shortcuts. It's like the display was very bright. I tried looking for the original display driver of my phone but I cannot find anything so what I did is that I tried flashing the firmware and file system using R1KG001 CID52. The flashing was successful but when I tried turning on the phone, it was a blinking screem saying "Please Wait" with a progress bar not progressing. I tried re-flashing but still the same problem. I tried using R8BA024 CID 52 but still the same problem. So what I did is that I used the original firmware and file system which is R8BF002 that I downloaded from cybershot.4shared.com. It solved the issue but I was wondering why I cannot install other firmware on my phone. Can someone tell me why? My phone is K800i (DB2020 CID52) with firmware and file system R8BF003.Another problem is that the font style and font size of the applications that I installed on my phone has been changed. I wanna restore the original ones. I don't know how but I believe it has something to do with the custpack. Please help me guys. I really want to upgrade the firmware and file system of my phone to K810i. What should I do? I'm using XS++ v3.1.No one can predict to what heights you can soar until you spread your wings."
