Oct 4, 2010I bought a new sony spiro this weekend and so far has been a pain in the back. It resets when I try to access the camera, sometines it stops playing music at random times, or it simply stops reading my micro sd. Today I installed the newest firmware, but still the same problem continues.

Nov 23, 2010I need to be to get the Zylo up and running. Big thanks to Jay in Customer services. I am about to purchase a DCU 60 data cable and want the genuine article so I looked at the SE site. Has anyone bought a DCU 60 via the internet?
Lastly, this Zylo of mine has one feature that drives me nuts. Despite me trying everything, unless I keep pressing keys, the screen goes blank after around 10 secs. It is an absolute pain when I am browsing or reading/sending texts or e-mails.

Oct 23, 2010I cannot connect my Sony Spiro to my PC. I have the USB cable but when I connect it to the PC and phone nothing happens at all. I have had a Sony in the past and it connected no problem. I have the Sony PC Suite on my PC but this cannot find the phone. Windows does not recognize that anything has been connected.

Oct 18, 2010I bought the Zylo almost two months ago and I'm already having a problem with it. First of all, I can't hear a call from the handset itself, I have to speak from the speaker. Which is very inconvenient. The Service centre was not very helpful. He said check up from so and so date to check when the spares come in.i have to wait till the store opens and then call up and check when my phone can be repaired. Second problem that cropped up today is that my menu button does not work when the slide is open. My software is up-to-date as I updates it two days ago. Also I find the battery life very weak, isn't this supposed to be a walkman phone? I am outraged to find such problems with an SE phone so early into use. This has never been manhandled, why the problem then?

Oct 21, 2010Sony Ericsson Zylo or W200i(I have no idea which one is it), is one phone which I worpship a lot! It have crystal sounds, great mp3 player, videos are so cool as well and the camera not to mention is awesome as well. One day I was at my grandma to help her with some stuff, and while listening to radio I was wandering, why zylo can be radio and have radio antennas, but not being mini TV and not have some sort of antena for television? I searched a lot on google to find out for any sort of telephone having TV with antenna or something, and I came out with this thing called "TV Tuner".
I searched a lot about Zylo if can have it or if I need to buy it and implement it like the recharging thing but still no clue. Then I searched only if any sony ericsson have at all this TV Tuner thing and I found only those "X10i" and "SO903i". So the big question is, why Zylo can have such clear videos(I convert movies or videos to small format and send them to memory card), but no TV at all? Is there a way to implement it or to make a tuner for people like me, which need to watch the sport, news and such after having a break from driving a car or bike on long distance. I hope such thing can be made and sold, this will be awsome to buy and have!

Oct 27, 2010I am having a trouble with my Zylo phone. When I get the sms the phone does not recognize the number and display the sender's name. I was not having this issue from the beginning. From about a week's time I'm facing this issue. Also it is not happening for all the numbers. Only for few numbers the phone is not recognizing the contact. (I have checked the contact and both the name and number are present). When I clock the options and select Use Number and when I select the Call option, the phone recognizes the number and displays the name of the person when calling. However the SMS is not recognizing the number.

I'm used to working with a Sony Ericsson, but e.g. down is for me always opening my contacts. This is really annoying! Nov 22, 2010ll of a sudden from this morning my spiro has totally stopped sending any sms. Its not having that dumb out of memory problem just yet but whenever i say send, it just quits the sms screen and soesn't actually send anything. Nov 19, 2010I have a real problem at sliding when I slide down the buttons are enlighted(the control ones : up, down, left, right, answer, hang up and the other two ) , BUT when i slide up they are not anymore I also tried to see in the dark how do i manage to use the cellphone and it does't work quite well I hope you can find something that will help me I also have to tell that I updated the cellphone once to the final update and I also master reseted it.

Aug 18, 2010Is it possible to use my mp3s on the micro sd as a ringtone/alarm signal? I have followed the guide on this site (menu>settings>sound&alerts>ringtones) and this brings me to a music folder containing 2 folders (ringtones & my radio recs) but no mp3s. Do i need to put my music into the ringtones folders?
