I have problem with my SE Zylo (W20i). I have no sound on incoming call.I cant hear the one calling me. They can hear me though . Hands free works fine, speaker phone works fine. It is only the actual phone that is totally off? Any thoughts? Might be an easy solution that I have missed but right now im stuck.

First of all, I can't hear a call from the handset itself, I have to speak from the speaker. Which is very inconvenient. The Service centre was not very helpful. He said check up from so and so date to check when the spares come in.i have to wait till the store opens and then call up and check when my phone can be repaired. Second problem that cropped up today is that my menu button does not work when the slide is open. My software is up-to-date as I updates it two days ago. Also I find the battery life very weak, isn't this supposed to be a walkman phone? I am outraged to find such problems with an SE phone so early into use. This has never been manhandled, why the problem then?

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust wondering how I silence an incoming call on the C903? I know I can press the hang up button but this immediately sends a busy signal to the person calling. Most phones allow you silence the ringer so the incoming call continues and you can still choose to answer it or leave it to go to through to the answer phone. Is that possible on this phone? I've search the manual and can't find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Lastly, this Zylo of mine has one feature that drives me nuts. Despite me trying everything, unless I keep pressing keys, the screen goes blank after around 10 secs. It is an absolute pain when I am browsing or reading/sending texts or e-mails.
It doesn't look like the Zylo activesync support the corporate required lock. Is this true? Whenever I try to sync it gives me an error check you settings message with nothing else. Anyone know if this is true and if there are any plans to add this soon?

I have checked the loud speaker, which is fine as is the microphone. There appears to be no other issue with the handset at all. Is there some sort of option I have accidentally turned on?

It have crystal sounds, great mp3 player, videos are so cool as well and the camera not to mention is awesome as well. One day I was at my grandma to help her with some stuff, and while listening to radio I was wandering, why zylo can be radio and have radio antennas, but not being mini TV and not have some sort of antena for television? I searched a lot on google to find out for any sort of telephone having TV with antenna or something, and I came out with this thing called "TV Tuner".
I searched a lot about Zylo if can have it or if I need to buy it and implement it like the recharging thing but still no clue. Then I searched only if any sony ericsson have at all this TV Tuner thing and I found only those "X10i" and "SO903i". So the big question is, why Zylo can have such clear videos(I convert movies or videos to small format and send them to memory card), but no TV at all? Is there a way to implement it or to make a tuner for people like me, which need to watch the sport, news and such after having a break from driving a car or bike on long distance. I hope such thing can be made and sold, this will be awsome to buy and have!
I have a Zylo phone & am able to charge, with a USB cable, from my laptop. My friend just purchased an Amzer solar charger. When I connect both devices, & turn on the charger, the phone shows the USB icon. However, the battery icon does not indicate it is taking a charge.

I was not having this issue from the beginning. From about a week's time I'm facing this issue. Also it is not happening for all the numbers. Only for few numbers the phone is not recognizing the contact. (I have checked the contact and both the name and number are present). When I clock the options and select Use Number and when I select the Call option, the phone recognizes the number and displays the name of the person when calling. However the SMS is not recognizing the number.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a real problem at sliding when I slide down the buttons are enlighted(the control ones : up, down, left, right, answer, hang up and the other two ) , BUT when i slide up they are not anymore I also tried to see in the dark how do i manage to use the cellphone and it does't work quite well I hope you can find something that will help me I also have to tell that I updated the cellphone once to the final update and I also master reseted it.

View 4 Replies View Relatedfor some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this.What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader.
1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp
2. Currently you can choose the following sounds
1. Camera shutter
2. Bear can opening
3.Tennis ball
4. Laser
The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle!You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! Perhaps stupid but in android 1.6 together with the wifi and gps there was a icon to select the sound on/off/vibration know after update to 2.1 i can't find a fast way to change de sound to off or vibration execpt via the setting menu. Is there a widget or perhaps a link so you can put it on one of the screens.
