I found there is a very little tiny white dot that I doubt might be a dead pixel on my iphone 4s screen. It hard to notice only when the screen turns totally black such as power off and on the iPhone. I've just bought my iPhone 4s January from the Yoobee and I covered the screen with protective film once I had bought the phone. Do I really need to get a replacement?

I recently bought a 5800 and it has a dead pixel on the screen. I was really looking forward to getting this phone and I am now quite disappointed (and disgusted by the service I was offered here in Malta!). I returned it to the shop where I bought it and was told that I have to have at least 5 dead pixels for me to be able to change it. Is this true?
It is still under guarantee as it hasn't even been a month since the date of purchase. They tried to feed me so much bull (including: the laws do not apply for Malta and that i had to go back within the first seven days EVEN THOUGH it clearly says on the guarantee that I have a 30-day period from the date of purchase to take it back).

When i try to charge it flashes a blank white screen 3 or 4 times (about 2 seconds a time) then goes blank? It does not charge at all.

My best Buy pretty much said they do not want to take the phone back again because of how many times I've returned it for various legitamate issues. While this is not a deal breaker, it is very annoying and I want to fix it. It reappeared after about 2 weeks of it going away. The first time it came, I was on CyanogenMod 11. Now I am on 4.4.2 100% stock Sense. I have performed a factory reset. The pixel is pink even when in recovery and fastboot (no Android OS).
I attempted a screen flush with one of those flashing screen programs on Google Play store, and ran it for separate 10 hour and 8 hour intervals, with no luck. I bought this device used and the bootloader has been unlocked, so warranty claim is probably going to cost more than it is worth.

After i put it into charge - then only a successful start is done. So the only solution as of now i have - is whenever my blackberry hangs - i need to remove the battery - insert it again - and immediately put it into charging via USB/Electric-Power. Even if i re-insert the battery - the white screen comes - unless and until i put it into charging Earlier i was guessing - my battery was weak.

Looks like a box or briefcase with a red circle on the top right corner of the icon, either with a white star or arrow in it. Its too small to say for sure. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had an iphone 3G since Dec-2008 - obviously out of warranty now.Today, the bottom 20% of the screen or so went dead - it won't respond to touches, taps, slides, etc. The rest of the screen responds fine, but this portion is completely out of it.This is particularly problematic b/c it is all of the bar where my 4 favorite icons sit (SMS, Email, Web and Ipod). I did some googling and found the apple Article TS1827, but it didn't say what could be the cause, how to fix it, etc.

The problem is that 2 weeks ago from nowhere i got the white screen of death for 5 seconds and then it returned to usual home screen, i thought it was normal but it happened again like 1 hour ago! I did some research and found it was an ios 7 bug that Apple supposedly fixed with ios 7.1.1 update!

I've recently noticed a radius of brighter pixels on the top right part of my iPhone 4. I think this is known as 'dead pixels'. it covers quite a patch of the top right corner of the screen. When I put pressure on the patch, it makes a jelly puddle momentum, just like when you put pressure of a laptop screen, you get that jelly puddle. Just to confirm, is it dead pixels that I've got? or would dead pixels black out on the screen and be unreadable when you touch in that area?
