Screen on my iphone 4s suddenly froze. I am unable to switch off the phone or move the screen, it's just frozen and it's showing that the phone is locked although it has been unlocked and moved to another screen prior to freezing. I am now restoring the phone to it's factory settings and it is still being processed.
I can see that itunes is working on this, but the screen remains frozen and switched on. If this doesn't work and I think that it won't.
i tried to download the SE but then my macbook opened it with textedit , so basically i see a bunch of weird encryptions. i could still use it this morning, play music;surf web;facebooking etc, then it just hanged.i remember i dropped it accidently last night. what should i do! there are lots of stuff in my phone that are important, it's almost as important as my macbook
Had my focus suddenly seize up today after i pressed the power button to unlock the screen. Removed the battery and the device now won't power up. Theres a red battery sign and exclamation mark when I attempt to turn on the device. When plugged in with USB cable a battery sign with a plug inside it shows up but phone still won't turn on or sync with my pc.
I have misplaced my wall charger, is this an issue that can be solved with a wall charger, a battery issue or do I need to send it to a cell phone shop for them to fix it?
I'm trying to update my iPhone 4s to iOS 7.1.2 and it just froze on the screen with the apple and the loading bar, it won't move and it's been like 45 minutes.
my screen froze on my 1020. None of the "screen" buttons would work but the physical side buttons would. I rebooted a couple of times (depressing the power and volume down). It worked once but then froze up again. Taking out the sim and putting it back in seems to reboot the phone, which works, sometimes, but freezes up again as soon as the screen lock is activated.
my phone froze on the reboot screen the other day and now its not turning on at all..i hooked it up to my computer to charge and i dont know what happened after that, it turned off and got as far as the reboot screen..
Just got my X6 couple weeks ago with Facebook already installed.having used this on a regular basis it seems to have crashed the screen froze up and my phone wouldn't work without removing the battery turning off etc.Since then i have removed the app that was already installed and tried to re-install the facebook app from the ovi store with no luck? How and where from (download link) can i get this app back on my phone..?
As I was typing in my passcode the screen went white with code then the phone shut down. now it is frozen with a black screen and small clock in the middle with its hand running. I've tried removing the battery and reseting. now I have it charging and its sitll non responsive.

Today when I tried to update my Neo V Firmware to ICS my pc companion froze at the screen where it shows: Please wait, a ring was truning and was un preparing tab. It froze my whole pc so I had to force-turn off my pc. What could be the problem and how to fix it. I think my pc is alergic from flashing cause it froze my pc when i was using flashtool too. So i tried updating to 5.0.0.822 and it froze during the update process on the AT&T logo screen for two hours. At this point it seemed like a lost cause so i pulled it but now i cant connect to it or do much of anything.
The screen is frozen, but the phone responds when it is closed. I hear the trackpad, but it doesn't move, nor do any of the keys work. I have removed the battery - left it out overnight, still won't respond.
1. I installed the MLB At-Bat '12 app and noticed the sound quality is not good. I have sent feedback to the maker of the app, but not sure what the problem is. It reminds me of playing a cassette at a slightly slower speed (I know, some of you are going to say "What the heck is a cassette?"). The announcers voices are off, like their voice got deeper and are speaking slower. Not sure if this is an audio driver issue or app issue. Doesn't matter if its on wi-fi or not.2. lately my phone has been active very laggy. Switching screens is slow, sometimes the icons take a second to show up, and god forbid I am listening to music from my sd card, because it will get the skips.
3. I was taking some video this week and on two seperate days the screen froze for a couple seconds then showed action again. When I playback the video it skipped at that point, as if a couple seconds was chopped out. So it wasn't that the screen froze, it appears the process stopped. I got a force close error also. The first time, I rebooted my phone, then my phone decided that wasn't good enough and rebooted again on its own. The second time it happened I rebooted, only once this time, and it recorded normally after that.
Quite a few of these issues can be corrected by going in to the task manager and ending task on apps that are loaded but not being used. However they just come right back, so it is almost pointless. Before you ask, I have done a couple factory resets along with a cache wipe a couple months ago. It is a real pita getting the phone set back up the way I had an d I dont want to do it again anytime soon. I dont have a lot of unnecessary apps installed, but I do have quite a few, and I use them. It doesn't matter whether I am on wi-fi, have gps on, or bluetooth on.
I really had planned on this being the last phone I buy for quite a while, even buying the car dock and hd dock. I am starting to get concerned that the "most powerful smartphone on the planet" isn't going to last and cant handle mundane tasks. I suppose if I was just goint to text and make calls, it will, but while a lot of the issues are really just small things that are an annoyance rather than a hinderance, it will most likely affect my decision on how long I keep it. I really hope care was taken to develop ICS to help with the issues being seen on this site. It is too bad that those of us with issues cant have our phones be the test-beds for the development, rather than the phones they are using in the lab that most likely have never had an issue.
I recently did a software update on my Blackberry Bold 9000 when prompted by my desktop manager to do so. After the update the phone began running slowly. I then delete a couple applications off the phone such as Myspace and Facebook to free some memory. Then phone had to be rebooted to complete deletion. After reboot, the phone screen turned white and froze. To unfreeze I had to remove the battery. When I put the battery back in, it would not turn on anymore. Could the update have fried the phone altogether?
My Atrix 2, v ICS had the screen locked into 'emergancy calls only' mode, and won't unlock. I did a hot boot, cold boot, reboot, called att tech support, no luck. Haven't done a factory or master reset, and don't want to if not needed. Will accept inbound calls, but can't open anything, and MotoCast can't find the phone, Motophone tools not for this phone OS.
My Iphone 5 screen is suddenly not working. It sometimes has thin red lines down the screen and I can't select/move/swipe accurately. It also opens apps randomly and starts typing when I'm not doing anything.Â
My phone was working fine earlier today, I've made calls etc no problems, but it a black screen has suddenly appeared, and I can't see anything on the screen. the phone rings when I have an incoming call but I can't answer it. I've charged it for the last hour and still nothing, it vibrates when plug it in to charge but no battery sign etc comes up. I've tried to press home and start button together for a minute to reset but still nothing. If I press and hold the home key, I get Siri.

And NO, it is not locked. Photos, books, webpages and email will rotate 90 degrees in either direction - meaning they'll go from portrait to landscape, but will not go all the way around 180 degrees. Homescreen will not rotate and none of the apps will rotate. I've tried turning it off and on several times, deleted all recently installed apps, reset all settings. I bought this phone 2 weeks ago...
Brand new iPhone 6, worked perfectly for a few days, today when taking it off the charging cable the screen has become black and white, no more colors, tried to restart (hard restart) several times, no luck
my iPhone 4s died on me suddenly and is now nothing but a black screen. Even when plugged into charge nothing happens. The main problem is that my sleep/wake button doesn't work which is a nuisance. how I can get it turned back on?

I was texting a friend and suddenly the screen starts to fade black. I tried to turn it back on but it just stayed black. But when i want to put it on vibrate, it vibrates or when i want to charge it, it makes that sound effect when you plug it in. So it is still working but the screen isn't.
