i just bought an iphone 3gs and the sim tray got stuck because i put it the wrong way and when i took it im scared i might broke something because now it doesnt read my sim card.. I dont know if the warranty covers my stupidy, should i try apple store?

I've restored as new and still no change.
An iPhone 5 Sim tray was lightly put into my 920's Sim card tray slot and has gotten stuck. Does anyone have any recomendations for getting it out?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy phone: 3gs, jailbroken on 3.1.2 with bootrom 5.11.07 using pwnagetool 3.1.4. Itunes is at 9.1.Basically I'm stuck in recovery mode and I can't restore my phone. I get error messages in itunes everytime.
It started when I mistakenly updated itunes to 9.1. My phone wasn't being recognized to sync. So I thought why not erase all content on the phone itself? Stupid me didn't research it and didn't know I wasn't supposed to do that.
After the erase, my phone was in a constant cycle of rebooting (with the pineapple logo) and it wasn't being recognized on itunes. So I put it in recovery mode and tried restoring my custom ipsw and it won't. Tried restoring to factory settings in itunes and it won't.
Is the phone bricked? Is there anything I can do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've researched for a couple of days and nothing seems to work.
The sleep button is broken for a while and last night I was updating my iOS and when it was restarting it got stuck at the Apple logo. I can't force my iphone to turn off so I can't do the restore steps. What should I do?

So I reset the phone and now its stuck on apple logo and doesn't change. periodically it will give me a white spiral on the bottom of the apple logo but that is it. But after rooting i accidentally restarted my phone with a power manager app in recovery mode and now I can not connect to my phone via odin. Volume up/down to move highlight power button to select.

This obviously means that the phone doesnt detect the sim and turns off.

A freakish issue but Verizon claims it is not covered under normal warranty until told by motorolo. Anyone else had or heard of this issue? View 2 Replies View RelatedI just sent my Xoom off on a repair ticket because when I went to put in the SD card, I goofed. I did not realize the clear plastic "fingernail" was holding the SD slot. I tried to put the card in and it slipped under the appointed slot and got stuck inside the Xoom.if you haven't inserted your SD card yet, don't do what I did. There is a clear plastic tab that must be removed from the slot for the SD card. get the card back with the Xoom. It worked fine even with the stuck card, but the dust cover wouldn't go back on.

If I wanted to see all my icons I clicked the bear claw and they all showed up (so, one click). On my Bold, six icons appear along the bottom when I open it, as well, but in order to see all my icons, I now have to click the bear claw, then click "open tray," so twice the number of clicks - a small but really annoying difference. Can you tell me how I can avoid that first step and automatically open the "tray" when I click the bear claw when I am on on the homepage?

I finally got a good enough look at it to go through my app list and find what was causing it, which turned out to be the "Usage" app. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's supposed to happen, but I figured I would come here and see just to be sure and see if there is a way I can make it stop. The "allow notifications" check box is checked and grayed out, so I can't change it.

I am already doing software repair two time and also tested in safe mode also cached clear but still the issue is not solved.
Whenever there are multiple notification from same application in the notification tray and I try to expand it to see details, it expands and instantly shrinks back. Though this doesn't always happen (frequencey is 60% of the times this issue occurs), but it is really annoying.
