Jun 5, 2014My iPhone keeps asking for all my e-mail passwords every time I open the mail app. It didn't do this before and now I'm not recieving e-mails because I'm clicking cancel out of frustration.

Jul 13, 2015Ive seen people complain about speaker phone automatically being on when they answer the phone. However my problem is sort of the opposite. When I am on a call and using speakerphone is randomly shuts off. I dont realize it until its the other persons turn to talk and I can hardly hear them.

Since then my phone has started asking for the Exchange ActiveSync password every few minutes? I use ActiveSync to sync the phones calendar with my google calendar. I set it up when I got the phone last week and it has worked fine, without asking for the password.

May 29, 2012My phone recently took a swim with me the other day. I dried it out and had it in rice and nothing has worked. The phone is officially dead and does not work. I have found someone who wants to buy the phone for the parts. However, since it will not come back, I still have personal stuff on the phone that I would at least like to get off of there. I do not care if I get the data back but I do not want someone else to have it. Is there anything on or in the phone where I can reset it since I cannot do it on ITunes or the phone itself or should I just trash the phone and not have one until I can afford another one?

Jun 22, 2010Everytime I end a call a screen will show up asking me to enter my voice mail password. If I click cancel it will show up again once more, another cancel, and it will go away. But if I enter something and click ok, it will just keep coming back.
Here's the thing though...I don't have a voice mail password.
My visual voice mail does not work and my phone will not tell me if I have a voice mail or not. I called my voice mail and went to the option to turn off my voice mail password, yet it didn't do anything.
I tried making a password then getting rid of it, hard reset, restore, everything and nothing seems to work. I was hoping iOS4 would do something to fix it but no luck.
Also, this screen will also show up if I have no service and then regain it. (It also tells me if I have a voice mail only if I have no service, which is pretty much never).
Any ideas?

Feb 10, 2010I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.

Mar 22, 2015For the last few weeks, my phone has been shutting off at about 20%. When I turn it back on, it says that there's absolutely no battery left. It's not rooted or anything. I did a hard reset on it last week, but that only worked for a few days. I've had the phone for a year and a half (actually, even when it was new, it never had the battery life it was supposed to have). What should I do? Resetting every couple of weeks does not sound fun. If I root my phone, will I have more options?

2. If my phone is inactive, I get a notification of the request that I can swipe to approve, but it might be buried in a few notifications - requires me to be attentive. If my phone is active, I get a 2-3 second notification - requires me to be responsive quickly.Â
3. If I don't swipe the correct inactive notification (and sometimes if if I do), or if I tap the notification during activity:
    a) sometimes I'm taken to the app store where I can review the app request
    b) sometimes my current activity freezes. I have to power off.
    c) sometimes nothing happens (no freezing, no app store...nothing)Â
4. All in all, our results are about 30/70 success to fail. It's not a really great ratio.Â
5. If I want to find the message due to not being able to immediately respond, I can't. Where is it? Why is this nice-seeming feature so hard to troubleshoot on our own?

Mar 6, 2014Battery life is worse than pathetic. Just a few calls a day, and what I consider average app use (music usually plugged in charging), and with the camera grip (with aux battery) and tonight it started flashing "Battery critically low". Fully charges it overnight, every night. With the camera grip you'd think it'd last longer but it's getting worse. No background apps and I've tweaked the settings to minimal power usage (per a site I found on which things to turn off, etc.). By late morning it's usually close to 60% battery and keeps going down.
To make matters worse, now, we can't shut down the phone. When we try, it says Goodbye, blanks out, and turns right back on and boots up again. Over and over. We can't turn it off.
I'm thinking a phone reset might be in order. If so, I'm hoping things would get restored from the backups? We have apps+settings, text messages, and photos set to "Backup On". Unsure what the difference is between a hard reset via button presses, and doing a RESET PHONE from the settings menu?

I had an original Motorola Droid and that speaker was loud and powerful. This speaker is pitiful. There's no use using it as an alarm clock. The vibrate doesn't work half the time either.
