i have Iphone but I used a Samsung Galaxy mini before and with the new phonenumber and different size of simcard i need to know how to save all my contacts and get it in my iPhone ?

My contact list seems to have automatically imported all of my email contacts from all 4 of my email accounts into my contact list.This makes it really cluttered, andc I'm not sure I really want any emails in there at all, let alone all my ones from 12 years ago.

If I want to look for a phone number, it means that I have got to click on each contact name to bring up the next screen with the phone number etc on it and then click back to the contacts screen and keep doing it all through the list of contacts.
With my old HTC Desire it used to show both right at the start.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a Samsung S8000 phone with all her numbers on. I have just bought her the iPhone 4s and I want to move her numbers. I am tryng to do it through Bluetooth. The Samsung can see the Iphone and exchangepass codes. The IPhone can see the Samsung however when you try and activate the pairing the IPhine just rejects the Samsung as 'Not Supported'. Am I just wasting my time in trying to get this to work ?

It has started dialling random numbers during the night, sometimes my contacts, sometimes just four or five digits, and once to my service operator's helpline. It also did it when it was switched off so I had to start removing the battery at night. Just last week, it wouldn't let me send text messages. I tried the recommendations found on this forum but nothing worked although the sim does work in other phones.
I got in contact with Virgin Mobile and they arranged for me to send them the phone for it to be looked at. Unfortunately, the connection between the USB socket and the phone had been damaged somehow (not sure how as I'm very careful with my phone) so the warranty has been invalidated They say they can't do anything although I have no problem connecting the phone to my computer.
How can i block some mobile numbers.?i have that option in my LG & Samsung mobiles..But i couldnt find that in my Sany Ericsson?

Using number pads with letters, this is no problem but the default N97 mini dialer has only numbers and no letters. I have searched the web for third party dialers but no luck, Can someone please advise?
I used to own a E63. Same problem with keypad but there was a work-round. I used this work round using the N97 mini physical keypad but no dice.

When I recieve a text from one of my contacts the number that is displayed is a combination of two numbers from my contacts. It doesn't come up with their names, just their phone numbers seperated by a semicolon. Then when I reply to the message it will go to the first number of the two and not to the person who sent the message in the first place. I believe that this happened when I sent a text message a little while ago with both of these contacts as recipients, however I now cannot seperate these 2 contacts. I have tried deleting all the texts and contacts, however as soon as I get a new text from this contact it shows as both numbers again. The only way I can reply to this contact is to remember to start a new message, otherwise it will go to the wrong person. I have searched on the internet and found a few other people with is issue on an xperia phone

When I receive a text from one particular contact in my phone book, the number displayed is a combination of 4 different numbers, all of which belong to different contacts in my phone book. I am running a stock rom on my GS6 and since yesterday, when I had to call someone I noticed that I have duplicate phone numbers for each contact, but only when I type a contact's name using the T9 function of dialer. If I go to contacts, everything is fine.
I noticed that the issue is solved after uninstalling whatsapp. When I reinstalled whatsapp from the play store, it installed version 2.12.176, but I instantly got the update for 2.12.242 which was the version I had before. The issue came back after 30 minutes of use..

My bank will send me information in response to a code word texted to a 6 digit number (Common Short Code, I think it's called?). How do I put that 6 digit number in the contact manager? Do I need a different contact manager?
