May 16, 2012i was opening an app when my phone froze, i held the power button till it turned off. it then took over 2 mins to switch off, it will now not turn on or charge. my laptop does not reconise that it is connected to it.

Oct 12, 2012I see that a lot of people have had trouble with their 9900s not turning on or charging. I've tried connecting the phone to the computer and it will not recognize it, the instructions for making a device recognized is not working either. There was no water damage.

Sep 24, 2012My blackberry bold 9900 froze while it was charging, wasn't responding to the ctrl + alt + delete command so I took the battery out for it to restart and it wouldn't turn on neither would it flash the LED light. I've done everything from plugging in the wall charger to plugging in it into the computer nothing will work. No LED lights or anything.

May 21, 2011Had my focus suddenly seize up today after i pressed the power button to unlock the screen. Removed the battery and the device now won't power up. Theres a red battery sign and exclamation mark when I attempt to turn on the device. When plugged in with USB cable a battery sign with a plug inside it shows up but phone still won't turn on or sync with my pc.
I have misplaced my wall charger, is this an issue that can be solved with a wall charger, a battery issue or do I need to send it to a cell phone shop for them to fix it?

Ive tried everything, taking out the battery, charging the phone, turning it on without the battery. A few times it has said boot failed in the top corner.

Dec 21, 2015So I have had my AT&T G4 since last June and it's worked perfectly fine. Suddenly tonight as I was just watching YouTube my phone froze and shut down. I tried taking out the battery and it won't turn back on at all. The LG screen shows up and then it loops a bit before going dark and the power button won't work. Not until I replace the battery again. And the cycle begins anew. Sometimes the white AT&T screen shows, but still nothing. Once I got it to a screen that was optimizing apps I think. But that quickly failed.
I haven't factory reset yet because I do not want to loose my information and I don't know if I even have a back up. I don't know what to do and I can't be without my phone.
IOS 7.1.2 Froze IPhone 5 And Now It Won't Do Anything
Jun 30, 2014Went through the Settings -> General -> Software Update method to find 7.1.2 and it has frozen upon installation approx 33% of the way through. It has remained in this state overnight. Â
My phone is not jailbroken or anything like that and I have tried hard resetting it but nothing is happening. When connected to iTunes, all iTunes says is, "To allow access please respond on your phone" which I obviously can't do.Â

May 18, 2012So I tried to update my iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1.1, like iTunes told me to do, and it froze part way through the installation for a couple of hours. I tried to "reset" the iPhone by pressing both the home and power buttons simultaneously, but now iTunes tells me my iPhone is in recovery mode. From my limited knowledge, it seems I need to restore my iPhone, but I don't want to lose anything, like my SMS history.
Is there a way to get out of recovery mode without having to restore?

Mar 20, 2012So I was in the process of updating my iphone 4s software, it completely froze while it was in the middle of backing up. I disconnected my phone and tried to reboot it but that didnt work. i tried to reconnect it to itunes but it wasnt being read... so i downloaded the new itunes update to see if that would make a difference and it did... except for when i connected my phone to itunes there was a message that said " itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." If i restore my phone everything will be deleted & i'm not sure when i did back up, i think it was 2 1/2 months ago. I dnt know what to do, i dont want to lose all my pictures and texts that i currently have on my phone.

May 2, 2012Screen on my iphone 4s suddenly froze. I am unable to switch off the phone or move the screen, it's just frozen and it's showing that the phone is locked although it has been unlocked and moved to another screen prior to freezing. I am now restoring the phone to it's factory settings and it is still being processed.
I can see that itunes is working on this, but the screen remains frozen and switched on. If this doesn't work and I think that it won't.

Jul 1, 2014Last night my iPhone 4 was updating for iOS 7.1.2 and it was working perfectly fine until it froze 3/4 of the way.
It has been stuck on the Apple logo and progress bar for over 13 hours, I tried draining out the battery hoping it would turn off then restart but even when it was on 0% it would not turn off. I also cant do the hard reboot with the home and sleep/wake/lock button due to my lock button being broken (it has been broken for awhile now) I can't get it fixed at the moment but I really want to be able to use my phone, I also don't want to restore my phone because im scared im going to lose everything on it.Â
