i was opening an app when my phone froze, i held the power button till it turned off. it then took over 2 mins to switch off, it will now not turn on or charge. my laptop does not reconise that it is connected to it.

My Photon Froze when the battery was almost out, then turned itself off. Now will not turn on, only get the opening screen where it says dual core technology. Ive tried everything, taking out the battery, charging the phone, turning it on without the battery. A few times it has said boot failed in the top corner.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I have had my AT&T G4 since last June and it's worked perfectly fine. Suddenly tonight as I was just watching YouTube my phone froze and shut down. I tried taking out the battery and it won't turn back on at all. The LG screen shows up and then it loops a bit before going dark and the power button won't work. Not until I replace the battery again. And the cycle begins anew. Sometimes the white AT&T screen shows, but still nothing. Once I got it to a screen that was optimizing apps I think. But that quickly failed.
I haven't factory reset yet because I do not want to loose my information and I don't know if I even have a back up. I don't know what to do and I can't be without my phone.

My blackberry bold 9900 froze while it was charging, wasn't responding to the ctrl + alt + delete command so I took the battery out for it to restart and it wouldn't turn on neither would it flash the LED light. View 6 Replies View RelatedHad my focus suddenly seize up today after i pressed the power button to unlock the screen. Removed the battery and the device now won't power up. Theres a red battery sign and exclamation mark when I attempt to turn on the device. When plugged in with USB cable a battery sign with a plug inside it shows up but phone still won't turn on or sync with my pc.
I have misplaced my wall charger, is this an issue that can be solved with a wall charger, a battery issue or do I need to send it to a cell phone shop for them to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently my battery on my phone was about to die.I turned of the phone to save the remaining battery I had..When I turned it on again it vibrated like it usually does...But the screen never turned on..I've tooken out the bettery, placed it in the phone again, and its the same thing..It vibrates and no responce from the screen...I've put it to charge for a few hours: did the same thing again and no responce..If anyone know how to fix this let me know. So tried plugging into wall outlet and the green light will flicker a few times but will not charge. If i pull the plug out just a slight bit i can keep the green light but phone still does not charge. I have had previous problems of phone randomly discharging with 30 percent battery left. glitch? but the fact that the phone will not even power to charging screen indicates somethign must be wrong. I tried a friends charger of the same phone without any luck. Battery has not indicated any signs of wearing out. It would last as long as the first day i bought the thing. Anyone else had similar problems?
