Nov 28, 2011I charged up my phone fully yesterday and it was all ok. I turned it off last night and when i tried to turn it on this morning there was no life. I have removed the battery and put it back in but this has done nothing. I have also removed the battery and SIM card and put them back in again but this hasn't helped either.We have checked the battery on a multi-meter and there is definitely charge in in so it's not that the battery has died.

Feb 20, 2015Can the notification that the battery is charged and that the charger should be disconnected be turned off? I use my phone for a clock/alarm at night and I think the bright white notification bar (irritating in itself) will eventually burn the screen. I thought perhaps MacroDroid could do it, but I don't see that notification as an event.

Mar 26, 2015I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 yesterday (moving over from a windows phone) and it's taking some getting used to. The lack of a 'silent' function is annoying, but the part that is strange is the fully charged notification.
I suffer from insomnia and I finally got to sleep last night, only to be woken up by the phone vibrating to let me know it was fully charged. I wasn't able to get back to sleep for hours then, and I'm dreading it happening again tonight! How can I turn this notification off?

It is not unusual sometimes the touch screens don't respond and the easiest fix would be to press the power button to go to the lock screen and come back.
