Jun 24, 2014I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 8 to check it out. Being in beta, I was already aware of all the bugs that were going to be happening. After much frustration, I decided to downgrade bake to iOS 7.1.1. While I was doing this, my iPhone completely shut off, it will not turn back on even when I plug it into a wall charger or the computer, and iTunes is not recognizing it either.Â

Jun 1, 2015Was on my Facebook app checking a Notification when suddenly the buttons to return to home screen, back and move between currently running apps stopped working. It is not unusual sometimes the touch screens don't respond and the easiest fix would be to press the power button to go to the lock screen and come back. When I tried turning on the phone to unlock it, it never turned back on.

Dec 21, 2015So I have had my AT&T G4 since last June and it's worked perfectly fine. Suddenly tonight as I was just watching YouTube my phone froze and shut down. I tried taking out the battery and it won't turn back on at all. The LG screen shows up and then it loops a bit before going dark and the power button won't work. Not until I replace the battery again. And the cycle begins anew. Sometimes the white AT&T screen shows, but still nothing. Once I got it to a screen that was optimizing apps I think. But that quickly failed.
I haven't factory reset yet because I do not want to loose my information and I don't know if I even have a back up. I don't know what to do and I can't be without my phone.

I couldnt do anything, waited about 5 minuites and still frozen so i did a battery pull.When i popped the battery back in....nothing. No red led what so ever.|Ive tried charging on the wall and the usb on the computer (computer doesnt pick up the device)Ive removed the sim card and put it back.Tried fiddling with the little round battery in the back compartment as i had seen in another post.Plugged the phone into the wall with out the battery....and still absolutly no sign of life

May 29, 2010I purchased my N97 about a year ago and I absolutely adore it. I haven't run into any problems until last week. When I turn on my phone, enter the unlock code and use it to do whatever I need to do, it works fine. However, if I lock the phone or let the backlight shut off, it won't turn back on and neither do the lights on the number keys. Here is the funny part: If I press the power key (as if I were to change my profile) the backlight turns on, allowing me to see the screen, but the number keys don't light up! Does anyone know what I can do?
I'm not very tech savvy (so please don't laugh if my solutions are completely wrong), but here are some of the things I have done to try and rectify the problem:
- Let the battery drain completely and charged it in the hopes that it would rectify itself like it has in the past with other issues
- Took out the battery, SIM card and memory card just to make sure everything was inserted properly
- Restored the phone to factory settings

Mar 31, 2012My husband's iPhone 4 died last night. He was talking on it with about 55% battery left. It turned off and will not turn back on. Here's what we've tried:
1) Plugging it into the computer for an hour then manual reset. Didn't work.
2) Plugging it into the wall for 8 hours then manual rest. Didn't work.
3) Plugging is back into the computer, opening iTunes, then manual resest. Didn't work.
There is a small red light that you can see in the dark coming from the front of the phone. Other than that it's completely bricked. I have no idea what we can do. We're 400 miles from the nearest Apple store.
