I was sending an email on my iPhone 4 and it shut off and wont turn on. What do I do? I've tried holding down the home button and the button on the top of my iPhone. Nothing happens.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just sent an e-mail to myself from my blackberry and chose to send from my gmail account, but instead it just decided it might be better to send it from my work e-mail address? How do I fix this? It's absolutely unacceptable and I really hate to know who else now has my work e-mail address because of this. My phone tells me it sent from the correct e-mail address, but the address showing up in the e-mail where I received it says my work e-mail address was the sender.
If it was mixing up my gmail accounts that'd be irritating, but not a big deal - but the fact that it's just sending out of my work e-mail is a serious problem - does anyone know how to fix this?
I tried to turn off my 3GS because it wasn´t functioning well and the phone froze.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1. I use an IMAP account to send and receive email. It's been running perfect for over a year.
Then yesterday, and for no reason, mail stopped sending and goes straight into the outbox after this error message:
"A copy has been placed in your Outbox. Sending the message content to the server failed".
The thing is I haven't changed any mail account preferences, SMTP, Passwords or anything. Furthermore the exact same mail account settings on my MacBook Pro work just fine. I can send and receive perfectly.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm sending text messages to a list of people I have in an email, and I just noticed that not all (in fact, most) of the messages I sent are not appearing as sent in my Messages application. I'm sending these messages by hovering over the phone numbers in the email and selecting "Send Message" from the popup list. I then type the message I want to send, click "Send," and it returns me to Mail.Â
What's the problem here? I tested it by sending a message in the same way to one of my friends, and she told me she didn't receive it. Is there a way for me to fix this, or do I just have to manually enter every phone number into messages?

Recently my battery on my phone was about to die.I turned of the phone to save the remaining battery I had..When I turned it on again it vibrated like it usually does...But the screen never turned on..I've tooken out the bettery, placed it in the phone again, and its the same thing..It vibrates and no responce from the screen...I've put it to charge for a few hours: did the same thing again and no responce..If anyone know how to fix this let me know. View 1 Replies View RelatedMy flipside as i was loading a webpage just went black(while plugged into computer for charging). i hit the power button and nothing happended. So tried plugging into wall outlet and the green light will flicker a few times but will not charge. If i pull the plug out just a slight bit i can keep the green light but phone still does not charge. I have had previous problems of phone randomly discharging with 30 percent battery left. glitch? but the fact that the phone will not even power to charging screen indicates somethign must be wrong. I tried a friends charger of the same phone without any luck. Battery has not indicated any signs of wearing out. It would last as long as the first day i bought the thing. Anyone else had similar problems?

On the earlier version, I could not use my Mail for Exchange with my work e-mail (i.e. work server etc). it just didn't do anything after setup. In previous posts, people said after the update, it should work fine well, it doesn't. Its the same problem: After setup (with my IT guy) the MfE just doesn't load any messages. It just keeps on saying "No Messages". I have tried everything. So I have three questions:
1) When setting up the MfE, is there anything else I need to do i.e. register my work e-mail somewhere (which I did I think) or something?
2) The acces point Background: when set to "internet" it just doesn't work. It always says "Packet data not available" or "Connection not Available". The 'Internet' acces point "points" to the correct packet data set. When using the packet data set "manually", internet connects and works. Why is this so? Why can't I use my "internet" access point for connecting to the internet?
3)My third question is: For MfE, the access point is set to Internet. Could this be a problem? The only options I have is Internet, WAP services and Intranet. None of them "work".
