I have a iphone 4s and wanted to know if apple uses gorilla glass on both cameras? Does the front and back both use it? Do neither use it? If not what materials do they use on their cameras?

Is anybody noticing that the ZAGG invisibleshield film material doesn't stick worth a damn to the Gorilla Glass on the front and back of the new iP4? The edges peel and the corners lift up and eventually peel back.I've ordered my warranty replacement set from ZAGG already, but the customer service lady tipped me that I am not nearly the first person to call in with the same complaints. Obviously it's either the glass "slickness" or the coating on the said glass that's the culprit.

I've already been ticketed three times and I'm a very conservative driver. Those cameras get you even if you're not intentionally speeding, but are simply not paying close enough attention and happen to be exceeding the posted limit by more 10 mph. There is one called "RadarActive Speed Trap" on the App Store, but I can't tell from the description whether it gives you an audible warning that you're approaching a camera or not.

It was about a 2 ft fall onto laminate flooring!I bought this phone for all of it's high durability ratings - first test (and a minor one) and the phone failed! Spoke with some chat representative through the website who said any physical damage was not covered - she even said it SHOULD have withstood a minor impact like that but was unwilling to help in anyway.The only bright side is the crack is close to the corner, so it doesn't impact the touch screen much - but it will be a long 2 year contract like this...

"Varoitus turvatarkkailusta"/'Warning for security surveillance' is selected on options. When tried, no warning of what so ever is presented, no sound or visual alert, nor nothing special could be seen on display when driven past cameras that has been there for years. The situation is the same when I tested using offline or onlive navigation.
My xperia neo has lost ability to switch cameras from the back to front facing. When I go in to camera menu the opposition to pick front or back camera is not there. I've done all the resetting that can be done.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there anyone out there that has a Nokia 5230 and is able to be alerted to Safety cameras in offline mode ? I purchased this phone in Feb and have upgraded to 3.03, have deleted Cities folder and QF folder and reloaded both 3.03 software and maps so many times I've lost count - but still get no Safety Spot notification ( Safety Spots is 'on' in navigation settings ). Interestingly there is a folder called 'Safety Spots' under the Cities Folder - diskcashe file, but when you access it there is no data in the file .
I have no idea if the camera warnings appear in online mode as this never seems to work as I always get the message ' something went wrong and the connection failed - please try again' - I have no idea how to fix this, the Internet settings for O2 are correct.In any case I have no intention of using maps online. My assumption is that the Safety Camera info is recd from the downloaded maps and therefore should work in offline mode.
Is there a way to mute/turn off the sound for cameras?
View 2 Replies View RelatedShortly after I purchased my Xperia Play (Verizon) I did the update and everything was fine (2.3.3). Now when I try to take pictures they only show up with a green tint kind of like having night vision. It's doing this for both the front and rear facing cameras. It shows up in the preview as well.Also, when I try to send out texts it only says "Sending" they never get sent, but I can receive texts any time. I've been contemplating doing a restore to it but I don't want to waste my time if it doesn't fix anything and I definitely don't want to go through installing everything again.

Now this is speaking from a DEVELOPER point of view. Would you like to see iPhone exclusivity stop? To me, yes, obviously, because this means the App Store can be in more hands, and my apps can have a MUCH larger audience. Yes I know there is a lot of market share already, but look at VZW, T-Mob etc and if we got their eyes on our apps. you should be able to fill in the rest. What do you think from a developer point of view?

We have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.
