May 1, 2010I TRIED updating my nokia 5230 by using OVI suite and during update my nokia 5230 suddenly turned off and updating stopped. I disconnected usb cable and tried to turn on the set but it wont turn on. I tried to recharge it and restart it but it also didnt work. Now its still off and I don`t know what to do anymore.

May 30, 2012Since I have updated my iPhone 4 to IOS 5.1.1 last week, my ATT 3G wireless service (internet,apps,etc) keeps crashing. I can turn on airplane mode and back off and it will work for a few minutes, then it stops working again. I have not hit the throttled 3G service (im unlimited and have only used 322mb so far). Voice works fine.
Also, my battery, which used to work fine all day, now has to be recharged before the end of the day. I have restored the phone yesterday, no changes. This all started after the update.

Jun 2, 2014I bought this iphone 5 six months ago and have a pay as you go plan with Kolbi I.C.E (a local provider.) Everything worked fine, until last week I was talking on my phone all morning, and then I shut it off to charge it and when I turned it back on I couldn't connect to the cellular network. Â
Since then, I have tried LITERALLY everything I can find on the internet to make it work again: toggling airplane mode, restart, refresh network settings, restore to factory, taking out the sim card and putting it back in again, EVERYTHING. And not for one single second have I been able to access the cellular network again. Â
I tried putting my simcard in my friend's identical iphone 5 and it worked just fine, leading me to believe the problem is with my iphone in particular-- but why would it just STOP connecting all of a sudden, for no reason???Â

Jan 21, 2010My BB 9700 doesn't catch the first 4-5 rings of an incoming call. It's so bad that incoming Google Voice calls go straight to Google voicemail. If I call myself, I hear 4-5 rings on the calling side before the BB begins to ring. I've changed the ringer settings from vibrate but this seems to do little.
Before this phone I had a Sony Ericcson k850 that had the same problem. Before that I had the SE k550i that did NOT have any problem. If I take that old phone and put my sim card in it now, it still has no ring lag.
So I believe it has something to do with the phone settings within the phone, though this BB is the first phone I bought that came from AT&T (branded probably). Can I change some setting for the phone to ping the towers more often? I don't see anything for slot cycle on the phone...

Nov 5, 2013I have owned my HTC One for over half a year now and am currently running stock 4.3 with Sense 5.0. Over the past week I have noticed that blinkfeed no longer updates in the background. I have it set to auto update over data and wifi, but it won't even auto update while it is connected to wifi and charging. I always have to pull it down to manually update recently. I have tried rebooting and changing the update preferences, but no luck. I really love blinkfeed. So, this is a big issue in my eyes.

May 3, 2010I have an 8310 that has been syncing just fine wtih my MC Outlook 2007 calendar (on XP SP3) - until the last week. I have changed nothing that I know of - other than a month+ ago, updated the BB device to the current, but it was still working fine after that upgrade.Last week my entries that I had in my outlook synced to my BB, but were then delted from outllook and I can not get them to sync back to outlook. I have changed the sync settings to sync to one-way and two-way - nothing seems to get them back to my outlook.I have just tried updating destop manager to 5.0.1.37 - still nothing.

Just updated to iOS 5.1, and literally moments after install, first phone call came in, and I answered, the person sounded like she was speaking through an old trucker's CB on his way through Nebraska (no offense). Three days later after resetting, etc., still same issue.
Questions:
1. Is it hardware or software related, and is it just a coincidence that the receiver failed after updating?
2. Is it possible to reinstall an older iOS (like 5.0.1), and if so, how?
IPhone :: Cannot Detect The Contacts After Updating Phone
Jun 8, 2012Last evening,the i phone battery had died, after charging my 3g iphone, prompts showed a cable (connecting to itunes) update.
So i connected it and ran the update, it said after updating i could restore my contacts and messages. ( Earlier that day we updated our macbook to the osx lion and moved our moble me account to the icloud)
I was not given the option to "restore contacts, messages, information" ( As is customary when updating my iphone)
Note: After the update was complete, ( updated to 4.2.1) IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 5.1. (BUT that may be because I have an old 3G iphone??)
Then all it offered me was syncing options, so I "sync"ed "it". Now, all my iphone messages, contacts, phone history, purchased apps...... are "GONE'

Sep 11, 2010I have an iPhone 3G which I unlocked a year ago. Last night I decided to update to ios 4.0.2, then it got locked and I could not use it. Luckily I had a sim from the service provider who i bought it from which enabled me to turn on the phone. I used guidelines from the net and downloaded redsn0w and then os 4.0 which enabled me to open the redsnow finally and of course connected my iphone to my book pro. i went over all the steps and thought I am done after saw the Cydia icon on my iphone (which disappeared during the update)..the only weird thing is that the cydia icon was white not dark red as usual. then i tried opening cydia and follow the step to go to manage etc and enter the famous URL... the result was i got did not find repository and also later i found out that i cannot see my phone icon on the iphone...
