IPhone :: 3G Phone Icon Disappeared & Cannot Unlock After Updating

I have an iPhone 3G which I unlocked a year ago. Last night I decided to update to ios 4.0.2, then it got locked and I could not use it. Luckily I had a sim from the service provider who i bought it from which enabled me to turn on the phone. I used guidelines from the net and downloaded redsn0w and then os 4.0 which enabled me to open the redsnow finally and of course connected my iphone to my book pro. i went over all the steps and thought I am done after saw the Cydia icon on my iphone (which disappeared during the update)..the only weird thing is that the cydia icon was white not dark red as usual. then i tried opening cydia and follow the step to go to manage etc and enter the famous URL... the result was i got did not find repository and also later i found out that i cannot see my phone icon on the iphone...

I have just installed the new BlackBerry software update for my 8520 and the Keyboard lock icon has disappeared! It is one of the most important functions for this phone which will open applications or try to phone people at the slightest excuse. I've opened up everything I can find in the various menus but can find nothing related to this & searches using words like Keylock or Keyboard lock on the BlackBerry website come up with solutions to spelling check or highlighting problems! Incidentally initial quick look at update seems to be an improvement, in appearance at least.

My phone icon disapeared from the icon tray on home screen into the application folder. I can not figure out how to put it back on the bottom icon tray on home screen. I also just updated my phone today. Not sure if that has something to do with it.

My wife tells me that something looks different on her iPhone 4 screen. I take a look and I see that the Nav Menu that usually has the Phone, Mail, Safari and Music apps by default is missing the the Phone app. I looked at other screens and it wasn't moved. I think it was accidenyly deleted. The question is, how do I get it back?

I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

I have a BOLD 9900 that it's phone button does not work and the phone Icon has disappeared.All other apps work.I have taken the battery out and reinserted. Ran the Show Icon procedure. Turned it off and on.Turned the phone lock off and on.Checked Manage connections and all good.

While playing Superbowl the handset started to behave differently. After exiting the game some questions marks (????) appeared on the desktop and instead of icons there were only little titles there. Tried restarting the handset resulted in failure to do so (not booting).

This morning I noticed the mail app icon disappeared from the 4 icons in the last row (with phone, safari and music). Probably simple to the rest of you but i am a new user........my Maps Icon has dissapeared from the home screen. Its not "hidden" in any other applications that i can see.The application is still in the phone because when i search maps it pulls the application up and i can use it as normal. I have an iPhone 5c which is updated to IOS 7.1.1. I regularly use FaceTime and never had a problem. Today I restarted my iPhone as FaceTime Audio call was not connecting, as I normally do in such issue. When the iPhone got restarted the FaceTime App on my iPhone disappeared. I tried searching from the Spotlight it does not show. Even tried to go to Contact to connect call from there but I do not have option to make FaceTime call in contacts as well.

I've been searching for a fix to my problem that is that since I updated to ICS, "Facebook for HTC Sense" disappeared in the settings menu of "Account & sync" I just have the one just called "Facebook" and if I press Add account it won't show up. The problem is that I can see "Facebook for HTC Sense" in my apps list, and also when I go to a contact profile I can kind of see it. Also, when I link contacts I just can link it to the one called "Facebook" and it really pisses me off, since it never updates and the contact avatars remains the same always.
