Jun 21, 2010I recently made a bunch of different upgrades through Cydia since last night and this morning. Just now, I noticed that my Categories icon has disappeared.

BB Torch :: App World Icon Disappeared After Upgrade?
Nov 9, 2012I have a Torch 9800. After upgrading App World and rebooting as requested I am unable to locate the icon. Been through "All" and "Downloads". Tried upgrading OS as suggested but that download kept failing.

May 15, 2010So while using categories I noticed when you put in certain folder names the icons will sometimes automatically change to correspond to the theme you are using.I have only done this with 2 names: "Games" and "Apps"
I tried searching google for a specific list of names I could make them that would go with my theme but then realized its theme specific. Any ideas or can any1 teach me how to check? Im using glassklart and there are thousands of app icons so I imagine there are some other folder names that will do what I want that I simply just cant think of.
IPhone :: Lost Icon For 'contacts' / Can Still Find Them By Searching But Icon Has Disappeared?
Apr 8, 2012I have somehow lost the icon for "contacts". My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

I take a look and I see that the Nav Menu that usually has the Phone, Mail, Safari and Music apps by default is missing the the Phone app. I looked at other screens and it wasn't moved. Jun 22, 2014I have an iPhone 5c which is updated to IOS 7.1.1. I regularly use FaceTime and never had a problem. Today I restarted my iPhone as FaceTime Audio call was not connecting, as I normally do in such issue. When the iPhone got restarted the FaceTime App on my iPhone disappeared. I tried searching from the Spotlight it does not show. Even tried to go to Contact to connect call from there but I do not have option to make FaceTime call in contacts as well.

I used guidelines from the net and downloaded redsn0w and then os 4.0 which enabled me to open the redsnow finally and of course connected my iphone to my book pro. i went over all the steps and thought I am done after saw the Cydia icon on my iphone (which disappeared during the update)..the only weird thing is that the cydia icon was white not dark red as usual. then i tried opening cydia and follow the step to go to manage etc and enter the famous URL... the result was i got did not find repository and also later i found out that i cannot see my phone icon on the iphone...

Apr 1, 2010I've read people having massive problems when they had to restore and used Categories to put apps in folders. Are these problems just for earlier versions? Is there something I need to look out for when using this app? I mainly want to make sure that if I have to ever restore, I'm not going to have to start all over. Mar 25, 2012My iphone 4s just started acting a little strange a couple days ago. I can connect to itunes and I can see "featured" I can Search, i can get updates, but when i click on the "categories" or "top 25" tab it gives me the "cannot connect to itunes store" error.
I've tried signing out of itunes on my phone, signing in again, reset all settings, reset network settings, restored from a backup, but nothing fixes this.
I guess if I "set up as new phone" it might fix this but I hate to have to go through this process as I have my phone set up the way i want it and that involves resyncing all apps, setting up new folders, signing into my accounts, all to fix something relatively small.
