The phone icon on the bottom of my menu screen has somehow been deleted. How do I bring it back? The icon is nowhere to be found, I have to search 'phone' so that I can make phone calls.

I take a look and I see that the Nav Menu that usually has the Phone, Mail, Safari and Music apps by default is missing the the Phone app. I looked at other screens and it wasn't moved. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone 3G which I unlocked a year ago. Last night I decided to update to ios 4.0.2, then it got locked and I could not use it. Luckily I had a sim from the service provider who i bought it from which enabled me to turn on the phone. I used guidelines from the net and downloaded redsn0w and then os 4.0 which enabled me to open the redsnow finally and of course connected my iphone to my book pro. i went over all the steps and thought I am done after saw the Cydia icon on my iphone (which disappeared during the update)..the only weird thing is that the cydia icon was white not dark red as usual. then i tried opening cydia and follow the step to go to manage etc and enter the famous URL... the result was i got did not find repository and also later i found out that i cannot see my phone icon on the iphone...

My contacts are still there, I can find them by searching but don't have an icon on my home page (or anywhere else) to click on to add new contacts or find old ones. Can anyone advise what I've done? I've tried synching with my laptop but that hasn't brought the icon back, and I've powered off. I backed up to the cloud earlier but am a bit bothered about trying a full restore! Besides, the contacts icon was missing when I last backed up, so it probably wouldn't come back anyway!

In order to install Infinidock, it is a requirement to uninstall Five Icon Dock which I believe is causing the problem. I have attached a screen shot of the pop up that appears when I try the process. I'm not sure who I need to contact to look at this problem.
I have attached a 2nd image with a second pop up. I've noticed a third, but it appears and disappears so quickly that I cannot get a screen shot fast enough. Will keep trying.

This morning I noticed the mail app icon disappeared from the 4 icons in the last row (with phone, safari and music). Probably simple to the rest of you but i am a new user........my Maps Icon has dissapeared from the home screen. Its not "hidden" in any other applications that i can see.The application is still in the phone because when i search maps it pulls the application up and i can use it as normal. I have an iPhone 5c which is updated to IOS 7.1.1. I regularly use FaceTime and never had a problem. Today I restarted my iPhone as FaceTime Audio call was not connecting, as I normally do in such issue. When the iPhone got restarted the FaceTime App on my iPhone disappeared. I tried searching from the Spotlight it does not show. Even tried to go to Contact to connect call from there but I do not have option to make FaceTime call in contacts as well.
