IPhone 5 :: Suddenly Stopped Connecting To Cell Network For No Reason
Jun 2, 2014I bought this iphone 5 six months ago and have a pay as you go plan with Kolbi I.C.E (a local provider.) Everything worked fine, until last week I was talking on my phone all morning, and then I shut it off to charge it and when I turned it back on I couldn't connect to the cellular network. Â
Since then, I have tried LITERALLY everything I can find on the internet to make it work again: toggling airplane mode, restart, refresh network settings, restore to factory, taking out the sim card and putting it back in again, EVERYTHING. And not for one single second have I been able to access the cellular network again. Â
I tried putting my simcard in my friend's identical iphone 5 and it worked just fine, leading me to believe the problem is with my iphone in particular-- but why would it just STOP connecting all of a sudden, for no reason???Â

May 28, 2012I have had my iphone 4s since the end of March with no problems, yet withing the last week or so it doesn't seem to be able to access the wifi properly, even when it shows me having full wifi signal. I noticed the problem first on facebook but just thought it was a fault with facebook, then i found that i was having connection problems in safari, app store, spotify etc. My laptop still connects fine so i dont think its a problem with the hub. I have tried resetting the network settings, checked for updates, restarted the phone but nothing seems to be working. the connection occasionally works for a couple of minutes then it just goes again.

I've reset all my settings and even reset my phone to factory settings. Iit still won't connect, just a constant spinning wheel looking for a network. Is this something ISO 6 will fix?

Then, one day, I left home and came back a few hours later, and I couldn't connect to the home network. I can still see the network, and it comes up with the signal strength and everything seems normal, but then I go to connect and a message pops up saying "Unable to join network [Home]".
There're 9 other devices on our router, which are an iPhone 4, an iPhone 3GS, an iPod touch, an Apple TV, a windows laptop, an iMac, a MacBook, an ipad, and a PS3.

IPhone :4S - 3G/2G Network Connecting Issue After 5.1.1 Upgrade
May 16, 2012I upgraded my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1.1 and after this I'm undable to connect to any 2G/3G networks, which had worked fine before the upgrade. I tried Network settings reset, disabling and enabling of 3G/Cellular network e.t.c. Also put in flight mode and turned back. Restarted the phone, reset the phone, e.t.c. No options seems to be working out...!!!
Can some one throw light on the same? Or is Apple working on putting a fix to this issue? How can I downgrade the iOS 5.1?

IPhone :: 3GS Won't Connect To Airport Express Network Despite Other 3GS And 4S Connecting Fine
Jun 16, 2012We have a household with 3 iPhone 3GS, 1 iPhone 4S, iPad, MacBook, 3 Windows PCs. All can usually connect to the Airport Express WiFi network. However recently one iPhone 3GS phone stoped being able to connect to the Airport Express network. We tried resetting the iPhone 3GS to factory settings and this did not fix the issue. We eventually had the phone replaced under the insurance I have with our cellular provider.
Now the same iPhone has just started doing exactly the same thing again. The symptoms are that the iPhone 3GS, sees the Airport Express network, it requests the password. The user enters the password and the little radial spoked wheel rotates endlessly and the iPhone 3GS does not connect to the network. Now the WiFi IS working as I have a 3G/WiFi bridge on test called a WiBE and the phone in question CAN connect to this using WPA/WPA2.
I have rebooted the Airport Extreme and the Airport Express network extenders several times as well as the phone, but it does not make any difference. This iPhone 3GS does not like the Airport Extreme network. I cannot believe I have a second faulty handset weeks after we had it replaced. Anyway it is not faulty as it successfully connects to a different WiFi network without difficulty.

Apr 10, 2010A strange thimg happened to my nokia 6120 Classic (i got as a gift in July 2009). Four days ago, the battery was nearly dead, left it, went out for an hour, came back, battery dead,put mobile on charger, an hour later,blank screen (lights for few seconds), left it charging for even te whole day no life, rang it from another mobile, "off" voice mail, tried other batteries, no joy, turned it off and on million times, flicker of bright light for few second which dims gradually over another few second then screen goes off completely. Never really turned out to allow me to do any salvage trial AT.i have no back up, no software on my PC, when connected mobile to PC could not update or download as mobile is always OFF, so it is not recognized by PC.

Dec 29, 2011Unfortunately, now it won't turn on. It gets as far as checking SD card, then the screen shuts off and won't come back on. I tried going into safe mode but there it just hangs on the Droid Eye screen and never gets past it. I tried clearing the cache to see if something had gone wrong there, and the problem persists. Am I right to assume this is merely an SD Card corruption issue?
