my phone will not connected to wireless network, it receives the gaining OK, but in the Service Status it says BlackBerry Internet Service; Not Connected and also BlackBerry Enterprise Server; Not Connected.
When I try to go to a webpage it says; 'Unable to find requested server'. Is there some setting on my phone I have to change? This has only happened in the last 2 weeks, I usually had you trouble connecting to the internet through wireless connection.
Like I have no trouble gaining internet access through just using my mobile network to connect, which seems strange! Also my BlackBerry App World also says 'having trouble connecting to BlackBerry App World. Verify your network connections and try again.
I am having a problem connecting my blackberry phone to a wireless network. Whats happening is that it connects and gets an IP address from the wireless router, but when I try send an email it says the phone is not connected. Everthing works fine when using the cellular service provider but when I switch the mobile network off and wireless on, I have an issue. If I do a wireless diagnostics i get the following

I recently got a new bb curve 8900 and I am having trouble connecting it to my home wireless internet. It worked like a charm the first day I got it, but now I can't get it to connect. Coverage is spotty where I live, so I need to connect to the internet to get calls and what no. I have the required data plan, so I am unsure as to why it stopped working.

So on my s3 I was able to wireless print to my hp that is on my home network.
When I used to print I think there was a samsung print server and a google print server. I think the google one is what worked.
However on the s6 there is only a samsung one. I did download the hp print app from the play store. When I go to print something it shows my printer however nothing comes out or of it is supposed to I cancel it after five minutes. The printer is on line and does work with a lap top.
I've had my BB 9700 for just over a month now, without having any issues whatsoever with the handset, and recently my 9700 refuses to connect to my wireless network at home, it finds the network, acquires an IP address, and connection speed even displays the signal strength, but looking at the Wi-Fi diagnostics on the BB there seems to be a problem with the Infrastructure, it attempts to connect and continuously fails.
I have tried restarting the BB, and the router, this doesn't seem to solve the problem though.
Has anyone else had or heard of this issue before? And are there any solutions?
I am on T-Mobile and the BB is not unlocked or anything of that nature.
I just picked up an Omnia i910 and got the WiFi to connect to my wireless network at home just fine. However, I cannot do anything with it? What am I missing here? I can open Opera and can't go anywhere. I can open up IE and still can't browse anything. Anyone have a suggestion? The Omnia is definitely connected properly to my network on a Netgear router.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOrange required me to install their Router - a Netgear DGN 1000. When trying to connect my Blackberry to the network, it finds my Home Network but then tells me that the Router supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup. To connect using a PIN (which my Blackberry will generate, click Next. I click next and the mobile generates an 8 digit number with the message "Enter this PIN into your wireless router."I cannot find a way to enter a PIN into the Netgear Router and all attempts to get help from Netgear have failed to solve the problem. The latest advice from Netgear was that I should contact Blackberry.Incidentally, the Wireless Printer and the Wireless Laptop both work inconjunction with the Router, as does the PC which is hard wired to the Router.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Nokia C3-00 WiFi phone but I can't seem to browse my home wireless connection with it. The phone can detect and connect with the wireless network successfully but when I open my mobile browser, it can't load websites, saying "Service not available."However, I can connect and browse the internet through other WiFi hotspots, just not my home connection. The router I'm using is LP-8616. It's an AP router, if that helps. Unfortunately, there's no firmware upgrade for this router anymore.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just picked up a MiFi 4G device and I carry it at all times. However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?

My iPhone 4s will not connect to my home wireless network. The phone recognizes the network, but after i put in the password, the grey loading circle just spins endlessly on my chosen network without connecting. I've tried restting the network setting, restting the router, and checking for updates.

I currently have a question concerning the possibility to tethering a wireless connection over USB to a Windows XP PC. I know that it is not possible to set up a wireless tethering of a wireless connection, only 3G or 4G connection.
My problem is that I have a work computer that is very strict on which open wireless network it can connect to. I therefore want to connect my iPhone 4S to whichever wireless network and tether the connection to my PC through either USB or Bluetooth.

I have a wireless network at home and it is quiet strong. My iphone was always connected to it until today. It doesn't see it and it can't connect to the internet via wireless network. It is using the 4G from the service provider, which is too slow and does not allow for certain functions.

I know there are some threads on here with an issue like this but check it out:Last week my iPhone 3G stopped connecting to my wireless network. Since then I have changed the WPA Key and even removed it completely so that there is no password and it still does not connect. I tried my wife's iPhone at the same time and that connected no problem - even on another network my iPhone refuses to connect to a wireless network. Do I need to get it replaced?

My iPhone 4GS ( my wife's too) wireless connection won't establish as it has been doing for over 2 years. No problem getting on the net through on an unprotected network. All of the other devices that use the same home network work fine as usual. The apple store folks suggested the that I try the various resets in the Settings panel, but that didn't make a difference. I searched the forum expecting to see more people with the same issue, but don't.

Before the 5.0 update, I was able to use my iPhone 4 to play music on my PC via my wireless network. I'd click Music, more, then my Shared Library would be there. I've looked all around the internet, checked every setting I can think of, changed every setting I can think of, yet I cannot get this feature to work again.
