Sep 15, 2011I keep getting this error since the latest update." the process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. try again"it will pretty much pop up when ever, but especially when I try and go to my gallery or try and take a picture or video. Oct 15, 2010I have only just got my first HTC phone. I think its quite good so far, however I am have trouble trying to sync with my PC. I have downloaded and installed the latest sync software from the HTC website, then plugged in the phone and selected the HTC sync option. The PC recognises that the phone is plugged in and starts the software start up screen and displays the message 'updating htc library' in the bottom right hand corner. This is as far as I can get and the software eventually times out and closes!!! I have tried on another PC and the same error occurrs!

Sometimes, I get the following message:"Sorry! The application Camera (process com.motorola.Camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".The only option is to click on "Force close". However, I can try as many times I want to run the camera app and I keep getting the same message, and not being able to use the camera at all. The only solution is to restart my cell phone which is very inconvinient.

Apr 27, 20121. I installed the MLB At-Bat '12 app and noticed the sound quality is not good. I have sent feedback to the maker of the app, but not sure what the problem is. It reminds me of playing a cassette at a slightly slower speed (I know, some of you are going to say "What the heck is a cassette?"). The announcers voices are off, like their voice got deeper and are speaking slower. Not sure if this is an audio driver issue or app issue. Doesn't matter if its on wi-fi or not.2. lately my phone has been active very laggy. Switching screens is slow, sometimes the icons take a second to show up, and god forbid I am listening to music from my sd card, because it will get the skips.
3. I was taking some video this week and on two seperate days the screen froze for a couple seconds then showed action again. When I playback the video it skipped at that point, as if a couple seconds was chopped out. So it wasn't that the screen froze, it appears the process stopped. I got a force close error also. The first time, I rebooted my phone, then my phone decided that wasn't good enough and rebooted again on its own. The second time it happened I rebooted, only once this time, and it recorded normally after that.
Quite a few of these issues can be corrected by going in to the task manager and ending task on apps that are loaded but not being used. However they just come right back, so it is almost pointless. Before you ask, I have done a couple factory resets along with a cache wipe a couple months ago. It is a real pita getting the phone set back up the way I had an d I dont want to do it again anytime soon. I dont have a lot of unnecessary apps installed, but I do have quite a few, and I use them. It doesn't matter whether I am on wi-fi, have gps on, or bluetooth on.
I really had planned on this being the last phone I buy for quite a while, even buying the car dock and hd dock. I am starting to get concerned that the "most powerful smartphone on the planet" isn't going to last and cant handle mundane tasks. I suppose if I was just goint to text and make calls, it will, but while a lot of the issues are really just small things that are an annoyance rather than a hinderance, it will most likely affect my decision on how long I keep it. I really hope care was taken to develop ICS to help with the issues being seen on this site. It is too bad that those of us with issues cant have our phones be the test-beds for the development, rather than the phones they are using in the lab that most likely have never had an issue.

Jun 3, 2011When I try to access the manage applications option under settings, it shows the spinning icon stating its working and then finally the apps look like they're loaded and when I try to scroll down it is EXTREMELY slow. After scrolling for a couple of seconds, it slows down and then stops. After being frozen for about a minute,I get the infamous black popup stating: process com.android.settings has stopped unexpectedly...force close.Also, I am unable to add quick dial contacts. I can get to the screen where it show 1-9 options with Voicemail alredy being #1, but I long press the number I want to edit and then select the contact to use but when it exits back to the quick dial page the contact I just chose is not there.I have the extended battery and prior to the GB update, my battery widget was showing 4200-4230 for the mV readings. Now, it is only showing up to 4155. I put the stock battery in to check that and the same thing, it stops at 4155.

Jul 21, 2012Anyone getting the error, "The process xxxx has stopped unexpectedly" with one button that says "forced close"? If so what can be done to prevent it. I was at the end of my run yesterday and stopped my run on the Motoactv. When I clicked the button to stop the run, the error popped up. When I clicked the "forced close" button, I lost my entire run. The run can no longer be seen in my recent workout list. It was disappointing to loose the data. I was not running any music when this happened. I was only using the exercise mode at the time. My software version is 1.7.2 N8. I would suggest that the watch needs an option to make incremental saves automatically every lap. That way if the watch does crash or the watch is accidentally turned off, the entire workout is not lost.

The reply from support is simply update software, I can't see why I have to do all this, as apart from anything else I don't currently have a phone line for internet due to illegal BT sales activity! It is also suggested that I send phone off in a jiffy bag to be repaired if unsuccessful, and what do I do for a phone in the mean time?? Jan 12, 2012So, got excited about the MotoACTV this past Saturday and bought online through Motorola. Realized soon after that my local REI had it in stock and I had a xmas gift certificate. Went to REI and purchased it - (Canceled my order for the Garmin 910XT in the process) Went back to the site to try and cancel my order but the 'Cancel items or order' button on my order page wasnt' functional. No biggie, I'll call. After being passed around to the same 3 depts TWICE, I was finally told the ecommerce section was closed for the weekend. Once again, I understand that.I then call on Monday, they tell me the order hasn't yet shipped but I'm not allowed to cancel it at that point. Don't quite understand and getting a bit frustrated at this point but whatever, I'll deal. Customer rep tells me that they'll issue a return slip and email it to me.
OK, I'm good with that.Wednesday comes and still no email with return slip. I call, go through the same 3 depts again and get someone else who tells me that it takes a while to get the return slip but I'll have it within 24 hours.24 hours goes by, I call again and get hung up on 3 times in the process before I can ever get to anyone. Once I get someone on the line, they tell me that it should be to me within the next couple of days... A RETURN SLIP?Once I finally lost my temper a bit, they said it would be 'escalated' and that I should be receiving it within a few hours... we'll see. They also let me know that I could not return it without the receipt.Meanwhile, I've completely soured on the one that I purchased and I'm considering returning it as well and changing my order back to the Garmin. By the way, I called Garmin's support team just to compare... night and day!
HTC One M7 :: Blinkfeed Stopped Auto-updating
Nov 5, 2013I have owned my HTC One for over half a year now and am currently running stock 4.3 with Sense 5.0. Over the past week I have noticed that blinkfeed no longer updates in the background. I have it set to auto update over data and wifi, but it won't even auto update while it is connected to wifi and charging. I always have to pull it down to manually update recently. I have tried rebooting and changing the update preferences, but no luck. I really love blinkfeed. So, this is a big issue in my eyes.
