Mar 11, 2010
iphone 2g (us version)- not working after updating to latest firmware (3.1.3).it was on version 1.1.4 and hasnt been updated for years.recently Internet wouldnt work on the iphone just few days ago (stated must connect to itunes).so i connected to itunes and try to update to the latest firmware. after downloaded finished...all i could do is make emergency calls and symbol showing itunes and a usb.
I ran the suggest os update, after running backup, the os started to load and then run restore , restore crashed phone useless how can i get it back as running restore just crashes
After updating to updating to 2.0.2.A.0.24 i cannot connect to the google server to set up my account. All i get is messagesaying i cannot connect to the google servers.I have tried with Wifi and 3G
After updating to latest firmware, the contacts have disappeared. If I search I find the names and numbers but they have failed to list in contact now.
The contacts are deffo saved to the phone following the restore. I can do texts based on my contacts, and phone recognises numbers from incoming calls. But for some reason the contacts hotkey wont being up my contacts, which is making calling people a little difficult. I have tried setting the key to be something different and changing back to no avail.
Despite putting the very latest firmware on my 9700, the email Settings Application ( in Setup Folder - Email settings) still takes me to a browser based setup on the BIS . my old 8900 and my work 9700 has an application type interface.. Why is this a problem ? Because it wont let me setup gmail Contact sync .. Keeps giving me a message "To start xxxxxxxx@gmail.com contacts synchronization with your BlackBerry® device, complete the security activation on your device:
1. In the Setup folder, log in to the Email Settings application.
2. After you log in, the security activation starts. When security activation is complete, wireless synchronization of your contacts with your device automatically begins." This does not work and I'm guessing because i dont have the latest email settings on the device.. I have tried re-installing firmware , wipes etc..
I got a new Elm (T-Mobile Germany branded) some days ago and after trying all functions (no problems found), I had it updated to the latest firmware R7CA061 with SEUS. (I've found some threads concerning Elm and GPS-problems in this forum, but they weren't connected to R7CA061). After the update, GPS does not work properly any more, or in other words: it does not really work at all! Neither Assisted GPS (I only tried A-GPS using WIFI) nor unassisted GPS does work. I do not get a lock on my location with Google Maps, also after waiting for more than 10 minutes.
My GPS-position is "jumping around" on the map about one kilometer around my actual position. It's completely inaccurate! I have the feeling that it's even getting worse after some minutes. I also tried the GPS test in the service menu: doesn't work! Switched GPS off and on again: doesn't work! Tried AGPS and GPS: doesn't work! Completely shut down and switch the Elm on again: doesn't work. After reinstalling the latest firmare using SEUS once again - GPS works (assisted and unassisted) and also the GPS test from the service menu works properly. But then, after some minutes, GPS seems to fade away again somehow.
After updating to firmware v50, my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic music player is not working anymore. The phone won't stop refreshing the music library. I got 900 songs in my memory card and the music player not adding even one song to the library.
I probably need to update the firmware on this phone. I checked online and there is a new update available for my BB. I am having issues with HSDC memory cards suddenly not recognized. If I update the loader, will it lock my BB?
as the title says agter i updated my iphone 3gs to the latest software through itunes, my phone reset to complete update and when my phone came back on it can't find a signal and is unable to activate and itunes says the phone doesn't have a sim in it
I tried to update my iPhone 6 to the latest iOS 8.1.2 but it failed for some reason. Now my iPhone won't update, restore or reset to factory settings... it is stuck in restore mode with the iTunes logo and cable showing in the screen and even when i tried to connect it to my laptop it doesnt show up on the itunes ( itunes cant feel it ) ....
I fecently upgraded the firmware (as suggested by Nokia) on my E72. The firmware version is 031.023. Everything seems to be working fine except for the message alert tone. Ever since the upgrade was made, there's no more alert whenever a new SMS comes in. It's causing too much hassle since I have to look at my phone every so often.
I've tried reinstalling the firmware but the same problem occurs.I've tried changing the alert tones but to no avail. All other alerts except for the SMS works.
i have a htc one x and recently the phone updated its android firmware, as a result the user interface has changed and i do not like it, was wandering if you guys knew how i can reset the firmware to its condition few days prior to the update? its an awesome phone and liked the interface as it was. for example before the update on the main menu when you scroll through the three tabs All, Frequent and Downloads, you would see the tabs change in 3D now its not like that.
i've tried resetting it to factory condition but asides from losing all the contacts, apps and personal stuff, the interface is still the new one since the update.

Just wanted to verify with you all before I take some action on this Iphone 2G.
My friend gave it to me in hope i can update it to the latest firmware and also jailbreak.
At the moment it has 1.1.2 firmware on it, and some apps like anysim, bosstool, ssh, installer - guess these were used to jailbreak it days ago.
So just to verify, this is what i should do? 1) Backup the current software just in case. 2) Download the 3.1.2 version. Install it on iphone. 3) Download the cracked new 3.1.2 version 4) Jailbreak it with pwnage tool. 5) Done
I'm using iPhone 5s (32GB) on a 4G network in Singapore.
Ever since I upgraded my firmware to iOS 8 and later, among other frustrations like battery drain, I'm also facing a significant drop/fluctuation in the network signal strength, home WiFi signal, and the Bluetooth range.Â
I'm unable to stream videos like I used to on Cellular Data. I used to get (when the phone ran on iOS 7.1.2) all 5 bars most of the time even inside the lift/elevator, but now it switches to un-browsable (don't know why) 3G mode even at the heart of the city.Â
