Feb 21, 2010My iPhone's image keeps automatically enlarging. The touchscreen is also bearly responsive. I haven't dropped it and I've only ever used applications from the istore. I recently purchased some music from the istore the same day. I've tried restoring and resetting nothing seems to work. It goes back to the enlarged image.

Dec 1, 2014When I went to use my iPhone 5S, I discovered the icons were enormous! Due to the huge size, I was unable to negotiate to the Settings menu, so I tried restarting the phone, thinking that might solve the problem. It did not.Â
Of course, I have to re-enter my passcode, and due to the huge size of the keypad icons, I was unable to enter my passcode, inadvertently hitting wrong numbers. My phone keeps disabling for increasing periods of time. I tried connecting to iTunes on my Macbook Pro, thinking I might get to Settings that way, but it asks me to enter the passcode on my phone.Â
I am afraid I will completely disable my phone.

I don't want to jail break my phone, I will end up breaking it and god knows what happens when you connect to iTunes and recieve updates of the OS to a jailbroken phone.
You would have thought the Apple iTunes store may have made a money spinner of alternative text tones.
I don't care about the new phone and 'multi-tasking', if I do more than one thing at a time I just get confused anyway but if the new iPhone doesn't address text tone this issue I may not buy it.

Oct 4, 2010Back story: I set up my hotmail account in my e-mail application and was never getting any e-mails. A friend of mine told me to try using my gmail account instead, so i added my gmail account to the mail app and deleted my hotmail account. i thought everything was going fine when it said that a new icon would appear on my home screen for this mail account. i waited until the little clock/processing thing was finished and pressed 'ok'. when i went to my home screen, no icon...here are the things i have tried so far:- taking my battery out to restart my phone- resetting my theme, resetting my icons in my theme- googling it; all they are telling me to do is to press 'alt+scroll' and select show icons (when i do this the scrolling voids the alt, and also they keep saying the alt key is a crescent moon which it is not for me)- went to my phone service provider and the girl there said she has had this problem before and would call the girl that helped her, and when i came back she said there was some way to 'show/hide icons but it was impossible to troubleshoot over the phone' aka she was absolutely useless.

Jul 28, 2015Initially I used my Z3 without SD card. Everything word fine: album AND the foto widget which allows to browse through taken pictures.
After
- installing an SD card,
- changing the location for newly taken pictures to SD card
- AND moving some pictures to other directories -
- AND creating a number of .nomedia files on these directories to make these pictures not appear in the album nor in the foto widget,

the foto widget shows a broken image icon for ALL pictures taken until this change. All new pictures display fine in the widget and the album app.

I delete the album cache and data file (in settings -- all apps -- album).This didn't change anything (so far).

How can I force the album app/widget to recreate it's database and preview/thumbnails??

Nov 25, 2014I'm going from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to a Nexus 6. I never thought it would be so different! On the GS3, certain icons would show "event counters" or whatever they're called in the top right corner. The email icon would show me how many unread emails I had. The Text Messaging app would show me how many unread texts i had. Facebook would show me how many unread notifications I had, etc etc... They were all the same, a number in a little orange bubble in the top right corner of each respective icon.

I am running windows XP with the latest version of desktop manager. It syncs calender, memo pad etc fine but will only do those same two contacts each time. I have played with all the different settings within BB desktop manager but did not want to play with settings in outlook.

1. At times I am unable to answer an incoming call.The "answer" symbol is not responsive to touch, however much I try.
2. Likewise, after I mke a call and want to hang up, the "end call" symbol is not responsive to touch. (the entire screen seems to freeze, because nothing else responds to touch: the speaker, keypad, etc)
I have tried switching off and starting the phone (twice), the problem persists, and in fact the frequency seems to increase by the day...

Oct 6, 2015I have a practically brand new LG G4 but occasionally it just decides it can't connect to the camera, I press okay it takes me back to the lockscreen and then I swipe to access the camera and it works. It looks like "fast" reboot, when only "Samsung" logo displayed briefly and phone is quickly coming back to working mode. Sometimes after such reboot screen and soft buttons aren't responding and I have to turn it off/on with power button. Them it back to normal...
Galaxy S6 :: No Data Limits Or Restrictions Blocking Data
Jun 6, 2015 i have a galaxy s6 through Bell and it is completely stock and i have not modified it in any way. i am having an issue where some apps, but not others, will not download data unless i am on wifi. i do have some apps that have background data restricted but i am having issues when the apps are in the foreground and are actively being used. i have checked to make sure that there are no data limits or restrictions blocking data, i have full lte signal and i have tried toggling between lte and 3g with the same results.
i have used the phone for 5 weeks at least and for the first 3 weeks all was good until this issue crept up and i had to do a hard reset. i started from scratch and reset the phone and all was good for another 2 weeks and now it is an issue again. as an example, i open the play store app and it loads up the icons and i can use lte and load all info and pics,etc, but when i try to download a new app or update an existing one it will indicate that it is trying to download but nothing happens. i can switch to the browser and it will open pages but when i switch back to the play store it says that background data is disabled when it is actually not.
today i have also had issues with google music where it will allow me to play radio stations over lte just fine sometimes and other times the icons will be greyed out and it will not allow the radio stream to open unless i switch to wifi. the settings are set up to allow me to stream over data, etc so it should be working.i have had many android devices in the past and am usually able to figure this stuff out but i am stumped on this one.
BB Torch :: 9800 Occasionally Will Not Charge
Sep 8, 2011I am running into an issue, periodically, where my Torch 9800 appears to be charging when placed within my dock, but loses battery life (appears to actually drain the battery) over the course of an evening if shut off. This never used to be the case, as the device would charge regardless of whether it remained on or was shut off. I also cannot rely on the flashing light (when put in charger) as the device does not do this on occasion, even when it does appear to be charging. I am wondering if this is a common occurance and whether there is anything I can do to ensure this problem is fixed, as I would like to rely on my Torch as an alarm clock, but need to know that the battery will not die over the course of an evening.
