Is there software that will allow for blocking specific callers and texting. I am looking for a proven result that can block specific incoming/unwanted meassages.
I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
Is it possible to block one specific number from calling and texting? I have an ex who keeps calling and i really do not want to have to change my number.
when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment. Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. Still nothing.I have changed network operator. Still nothing.I have inserted my phone card into another phone and with that phone I have no problems. So I suspect it most be my phone's fault. I have a Xperia x10.
I haqve just moved to Tenerife and got a movistar sim. I can receive calls and texts but cant send texts. I have tried to resend the service books but it wont allow me saying "your device had a problem connecting to the server". When i try send a text it says "requested facility not implented". What do I do?
I got a text this morning from someone I only keep in my contact list so I will never accidentally answer if they call. I then went to contacts and added them to my reject list.
Later I added a coworker to the reject list and had them call and text me. The call did not ring and a notification appeared that a call from that number was rejected. It didn't even give the name even though the number was in my contact list.
When the coworker texted me it came through perfectly. Not blocked or rejected in any way.
On my old thunderbolt I could flat out block people. I wouldn't get any indication whatsoever if they tried to call or text me. Is there any way I can do something like this with my S5?
In spite of registering with "do not call" I still get calls I would like to block.Ideally I would like to just mark a recent call number as "Block" for when the same caller tries again. What's the best way to get this done on my iPhone 4?
I m from Brazil and I have just changed my device from the 8300 series to the 8500 series. All the contacts in my outlook have the phone numbers in the following format + (country code) - (area code) - xxxx-xxxx. I cannot dial in my new device because I have not been able to set up the dialing mode to automatically recognize this dialing format. Where can I do it? I used to have it in my 8300 series device, but I forgot how to do it.
I just got a cheap smartwatch and it works Ok. But the phone calls and music goes always to the watch. Even if I'm using my headphones. Of course I can make them go back to the phone by pressing the bluetooth symbol. But I wanted that they go to the headphones when their set in. Of course the headphones are wired.
