Jun 18, 2012My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!

Jan 19, 2011When I hit the lock button, my screen turns off, but turns back on only 5-10 seconds after by itself and then stays on until the battery dies. It does stay off if I insert it into a Blackberry belt holster, so as long as I leave it there, it's fine, but I want to take it out and not have the battery drain so quickly.
The only way I can ensure the screen is off when not in the holster is to power off, but I need my phone to be on 24/7 for business.

Mar 7, 2010My wifi and packet data connections are set to turn on "After Confirmation" (instead of Automatic).FOr Internet access, Maps, and Nokia Messaging I have set the Access Point to Wifi and set it to "Always Ask" (for incoming & outgoing).Before I set up Nokia Messaging for my POP account the wifi would come on whenever I selected the Access point when an application requested it, and then turn off once the application was closed. However, after I have set up Nokia Messaging with 4 hour sync the wifi keeps turning on by itself. Even if I disconnect the active connection it turns on automatically within a couple of minutes.Nokia Messaging pops up every four hours asking if it can use the wifi. Even if I have terminated the active wifi a couple of minutes earlier, it will turn on as soon as I select "Cancel" for the popup from Nokia Messaging. In other words, no matter what I do, wifi turns on automatically and stays on till I disconnect it after which it turns on automatically.I have updated to the latest firmware nokia had for the phone. I have rechecked the settings several times and made sure no other application is active or trying to access the Net.All I am looking for is for the wifi ti turn on when checking mail and then turn off untill needed after 4 hours, so that batter life is not being used uselessly.

Oct 10, 2015their N6 on Sprint where Sprint service essentially turns off whenever Wi-Fi is on. This is the only way I've been able to describe my issues with the N6. Whenever I am at home, I am usually on Wi-Fi because it works more reliably than LTE. So whenever someone calls me, the call goes straight to voicemail. I only receive a missed call notification if someone leaves a voicemail. I've been able to test this out with family members where I turn on Wi-Fi, they call me, and the call goes straight to VM. Then, I turn off Wi-Fi, they call me again, and I get the call.
Keeping LTE on all the time (and Wi-Fi off) would not be an issue but for the fact that Sprint's service notoriously sucks inside any building made of concrete (even in Manhattan). I'm not ready to switch providers because I've been grandfathered into a no-throttle unlimited everything plan where I essentially can use 5GB of data each month and pay a reasonable price. I moved to NYC recently and before lived in the D.C. area, where I lived in a house adjacent to a tower. There, I didn't mind keeping Wi-Fi off because I always had great LTE.
This is quite frustrating and it appears to be documented to some effect on Sprint's website (without a fix, of course). Sprint has now reset my network, PRL, and profile; and the only other option appears to be replacing the phone through my insurance. I'm hesitant, though, because I preordered a 6P.

May 15, 20111) It intermittently goes dead altogether with charge still available. Doesn't respond even to connecting charge lead! Only get out of jail card is taking the battery and reinserting and, as if by magic, it's fine.
2) Sickly WiFi connection. Having setup connection for some 3 months and no problem with my BT Home Hub it has decided now that it won't - at least not directly through the WEP id. It will however connect to the BTFon or Openzone!!!!!! Nothing has changed that I'm aware of but the phone seems to hang on 'getting IP address'. I've tried resetting the Home Hub, taking out the HTC battery and re-entering WEP info but nothing works. Can't connect to my own WiFi.

Xperia X10 :: Turns Off When Using Internet Through Carrier But Not Through WIFI
Dec 2, 2011I have a strange Issue with my phone Xperia X10. When I use the Internet through the Carrier (3G) for several minutes, and the battery is less then (~80%) the phone simply turns off unexpectedly for no reason. If I then try to turn on the phone it will immidiatly shut down again so quickly I dont even have time to unlock it.
I can use the phone fine, Including connecting to the Internet through WIFI, and I will not have the issue. I can also use the 3G Internet fine until I get to about 80% battery, then the phone will turn off. If I disable the Internet connection through the carrier before I get to 80% I can continue using the phone without problems and even browse the Internet through WIFI. If I connect to the 3G Internet with my battery on less the 80% the phone will Immediately shut down.
I tried doing a full reset and reinstall through the SE PC companion, but it didnt help. I also tried installing a custom ROM and chose Wolfs TW Gingerbread but it didnt help and I still have the exact same issue.
Lumia 950 :: WiFi Turns Itself On And Stops Pandora

I noticed with my Lumia 920, that if it had a weak/poor WiFi signal, it would still try to use that, and apps would report a bad internet connection, even when the LTE signal was great.This same thing seems to happen with my 950. Here at work, we have no WiFi. There are some nearby, but weak. If the phone latches on to one of them Pandora will report the internet connection is bad.
So, while at work I turn off WiFi. Problem solved, right? Wrong... WiFi turns itself back on from time to time.Why can't it fallback to my LTE when WiFi is bad? Why does it turn WiFi back on on it's own? Should I report this to the Insider program?

Sep 19, 2011After a weekend of operation I tried to turn WiFi on only to have it turn itself off after 15-30 sec. It happened 3 times before I powered down and back up, that fixed the problem. It may be a memory leak as the phone had been on for 3 days, or maybe it was related to the fact that it had gotten to a low battery state over the weekend and it turned off some services to save battery and didn't turn them back on after it was charged. I have very few apps loaded and dont think thats the problem, but I did use Googles navigator this weekend for the first time since I updated to GB.

Then when I do these functions the ? mark in the wifi symbol appears and it says "wifi network available, select a preferred network" and it is now turned on. I turn it off and then it goes on again as I said. Just got phone, only apps added were no lock and battery widget if that helps.

Now at first i tought it was my router, so i got another one and still the same thing. it does this not just at home but to any wifi network. im pretty sure this is a hardware related problem, however it could be software also, i have gotin noware execpet from Moto Send your phone in, so in about 2 to 3 weeks ill have it back with no way of having a phone, plus ill still have to pay at&t, second at&t have never hered of the atrix 2 having wifi problems and offered to exchange the device for my warrenty deductable of $150.00, what should i do, i would also like to here from the community to see if there are anyone else with the same problems se we can address these to Motorola and At&T.

So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?

Details: I have an HTC One M7 on Sprint. It’s not rooted. After the recent update to Android Lollipop, I cannot turn the WiFi off.
It’s not as black-and-white as it would first appear, the WiFi on/off feature will work for 2, 3, or 4 days after the phone is hard restarted.
During the initial 2, 3, 4 day period of time, (it’s inexact, I’m still experimenting) WiFi on/off works fine. After the 2, 3, 4 day period of time, the off won’t work. What I see in settings, the Wi-Fi On/Off button with the green triangle never goes to off. On the settings screen when you two-finger swipe-down, the square WiFi icon when clicked, the concentric power waves will turn off for a second or two, then come right back on. And the WiFi icon in the status bar constantly shows a connection when trying to turn off.

Jun 13, 2015I am having a new problem with WiFi intermittently disconnecting. It seems to be happening after the screen has been turned off for a while--I turn it back on and the wifi is not connected--once I unlock the phone the wifi then automatically connects. It happens on both my home and work network, and not with any other devices. Haven't changed any settings recently. Tried to turn Smart Network Switch off but that didn't work. "Keep wifi on during sleep" is and has been set to "always".
Possibly related is that a similar thing is happening with Bluetooth. I only have Bluetooth on while driving, and I have noticed that the connection has been randomly disconnecting, and then I have to manually toggle Bluetooth back on and reconnect the phone to the car.
Galaxy S5 :: Random WiFi Turns Off And Phone Super Slow
Oct 15, 2015I transferred/restored all my info and apps to it used it all day till night perfectly fine. It was fast, wifi working fine, etc. Then tonight I installed Go Launcher on it and played with it for like 10 mins and then noticed wifi stopped working. I turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on it failed, I kept trying until wifi turned on. Mean while the phone was super super slow so I turned off power saving mode but it didnt work. Then I noticed wifi started turning off on it own. My next step was remove Go launcher but it didnt fix anything, the issues stayed. Next I reset it to factory setttings but when it came on, wifi was failing (and phone slow) even during the initial set up wizard.
The phone was completely fine during the whole day.And my biggest worry is that this is an exchanged phone. I originally got a supposedly new s5 from ebay, (from a guy with thousands of reviews/transactions and like 98% positive score) but eventually I realized the battery was fake and that the IR blasted didnt work. He agreed to exchanged it and I received it yesterday and now today the phone has already failed but in the weirdest way possible by being completely fine for the majority of the day.

Mine turns white when the screen goes to sleep and takes some time to turn back blue. i have checked the advanced settings, and it is set to Always keep WiFi on during sleep.
