1) It intermittently goes dead altogether with charge still available. Doesn't respond even to connecting charge lead! Only get out of jail card is taking the battery and reinserting and, as if by magic, it's fine.
2) Sickly WiFi connection. Having setup connection for some 3 months and no problem with my BT Home Hub it has decided now that it won't - at least not directly through the WEP id. It will however connect to the BTFon or Openzone!!!!!! Nothing has changed that I'm aware of but the phone seems to hang on 'getting IP address'. I've tried resetting the Home Hub, taking out the HTC battery and re-entering WEP info but nothing works. Can't connect to my own WiFi.
My Iphone (white) turns on then off then on then off then on then off! Finaly when I eventually get to the lock screen it says: conect to power but I charged it last night and the percent bar (top right) says 100% . Now it says to charge with itunes? What am I supposed to do!
Three or four days after a phone restart, I cannot turn WiFi off, it immediately turns back on. Seems like one app is doing this, how do I find it?
Details: I have an HTC One M7 on Sprint. It’s not rooted. After the recent update to Android Lollipop, I cannot turn the WiFi off.
It’s not as black-and-white as it would first appear, the WiFi on/off feature will work for 2, 3, or 4 days after the phone is hard restarted.
During the initial 2, 3, 4 day period of time, (it’s inexact, I’m still experimenting) WiFi on/off works fine. After the 2, 3, 4 day period of time, the off won’t work. What I see in settings, the Wi-Fi On/Off button with the green triangle never goes to off. On the settings screen when you two-finger swipe-down, the square WiFi icon when clicked, the concentric power waves will turn off for a second or two, then come right back on. And the WiFi icon in the status bar constantly shows a connection when trying to turn off.
I've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.
When I got the phone it had some revolutionary thing on, and people say I need to flash back to stock ROM how would I go about doing this? HTC WildFire (Sim free) (From the UK)
i have an htc wildfire. managed to connect to any network but found a really big problem to connect to my girlfriends home router. the problem is nobody knows the password of the router there. i cannot reset it
My HTC Wildfire will not connect to the internet through my home wi-fi with built in browser or with opera or with the Android market. It is connected to my router and the weather app connects and updates and google maps connects very slowly, but the others apps say unable to connect to server. My router is 54g with mac address filtering but the phone is allowed and shows as associated, and as I said some apps connect, but others don't. It works fine through my works public wi-fi set up.
I have a Nokia 5800. Everytime I open the Themes Selection, my phone shuts off then turns back on all by itself. I haven't changed my Phone theme for 6 months. How do I solve this? I would really appreciate replies.
I have a 8350i through Nextel. A couple of weeks ago my BB shut itself off and then turned itself back on. I did not think much of it until it started happening very frequently. When I say frequently, I mean every 10 minutes. Quite frustrating for a phone that I use for work. I took it to a local service department but they did not know what was going on so they just swiped the software and reloaded it. This resolved the issue for about 24 hours and then it has started again. It was sporadic again with about a day between each one but it has since become a very frequent issue again. It is happening about 5 times a day that I know of.I am currently running Version 4.6.1.313.
My Samsung Messager II sometimes turns off and back on when I am surfling the web or using the qwerty keyboard. Sometimes it happens when I am closing the phone.
I can capture a pic using the camera but when i try to capture a video using the camcorder ...it just beeps and then nothing happens..nothing is recorded ...am i doing something wrong.
I have a contract with T-Mobile that has 'unlimited internet access' and I have a Wildfire. I was hoping to use this to enable me to access the internet on a netbook and it seems like the Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot function would do the trick. However, when I tried this I get on to a T-Mobile page that is then asking me for more money and it seems that T-Mobile can detect that it is a different device than the phone trying to access the internet.
I try to turn my Iphone 4S off, i swip the "Turn off" bar, it turns off, then within seconds its turning itself back on. Why does this happen? I've looked through my settings and theres nothing that i cn find that would make this happen. I dont normally turn my phone off, so i've only just noticed it does this.
My iPhone 4S turns itself back on after I turn it off. It only started happening since last Thursday I am in the middle of exams and really need to be able to turn it off and make it stay off.
I have tried resetting it by holding the home button and lock button together for a minute but it doesnt work, I have also cleaned the charger input hole but nothing is working, how can I get my Iphone to turn off?
My iPhone 5 16gb IOS 7.1.2 randomly turns itself off and back on. I put my iPhone in recovery mode then restored it. This didn't solve the problem. Is there any way i can fix this or will i have to take it to the apple store?
Sometimes when I turn the screen off on My Bionic, it immediately comes right back on.Now, it doesn't happen every time and I can't repeat the problem on demand.Seems as though it has a mind of its own.I don't believe it is a bad app causing the problem either. The phone has been doing this on and off since I activated it yesterday. Not sure why it does this, but I wanted MOTO to be aware of this issue.I'm not sure if it is a hardware or software problem, but it didn't go away after a battery pull and reboot.
I shut my Photon down and plug it in and it turns back on. I plug it in and power it down and it turns back on. I power down, remove the battery for 15 seconds, reinstall the battery and plug it in and it turns back on. No new software or apps that I'm aware of. It just started doing this today and we've had it for six months.
So, I'm pretty sure my phone is fried - thanks to the wireless software update that my phone told me to download yesterday from Blackberry.Little update icon pops up on the screen telling me that there's a software upgrade of high importance so I tell it to download over the air. About half an hour later, my phone starts flashing and comes up with a quick screen that says "rolling back java" with a status bar that stays at 99% and then power cycles and does the same thing. I had to take the battery out - it's power cycling every minute at least. It won't do anything else, and my blackberry desktop software doesn't recognize it. I left the battery out overnight so the power cycling didn't drain the battery and as soon as I put the battery back in, it just goes back to its little java msg and power cycling.Any ideas? I will be taking it in to Telus later today. I'm assuming that it will have to be sent away and re-flashed and I will have lost everything on it.
How do I get the screen to turn back on when I am making a call? I dont know how this happened. I didnt drop my phone or anything and now when making a call the screen turns off. I tapped the screeen and tilted the phone and it still didnt turn on. I am unable to put call on speakerphone or select any other options.
When I press the and hold the power button, it says to swipe down to turn off. So I do. The phone shuts off. after a 20-30 seconds it turns back on. This is embarrassing when I have go into a meeting or court where you MUST turn off phone.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this bug on the 4s with iOS 5.1 ? I have:
Cellula Data > OFF
Enable 3G > OFF
After a device reboot I notice the battery is draining fast and I check in cellular data settings and sure enough 3G has turned itself back on. I have reported this using Apple Feedback but wanted to see if anyone else has uncovered this bug / can reproduce it. I can reproduce it after each and every reboot.
when ever i try to turn my phone on it just lights up and turns back off and repeats a couple of times. i tried connecting to the computer but didnt work and the battery was 100% full when it stuffed up
