As most of you know the iphone is not known to sync fast by any means.. But this is just ridiculous!!... At this point i'm looking at about 40-45 min a sync... I have been using the reset warnings tip i found on these forums which eliminates data being sent to apple during sync... Even with the almost instant backup it still takes a ridiculous amount of time..
View 4 RepliesI got my iPhone 4s last September and since then I've updated the firmware twice hoping that would solve the problem but it didn't. When I hold an app to delete it, it does start to wriggle immediately but when I press the delete button it takes more than 15 seconds for the are you sure message to pop up. I don't normally delete apps so I keep forgetting that that bug is there but when I do delete apps its when I urgently need space to take a video or something so when it takes me over ten minutes to just delete a couple of apps and yes it doesn't happen for just one delete it happens for each delete. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 the freeze time decreased a bit to 15-30 seconds it used to be longer but I could really use a permenant fix for this.

I bought a D6633 on Tuesday and the phone updated itself as soon as I took it out of the box, so I have been on Android L almost all the time, the thing is, my phone lasts longer on normal mode than it does on stamina mode. I literally see 2 days on standby and almost 5 on normal mode.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that when the Blackberry loading page start up and the little status bar reaches full, it takes a few seconds longer to bring me to the home page. Before, it would fill up, then like 2 seconds later the carrier splash page would come up and then my homescreen. Now, it stays on the black Blackberry loading page for at least 10 seconds before the carrier logo comes up. Is this normal? I don't my phone to die on me or something.
View 14 Replies View RelatedMy nexus 5 sometimes shows 1hours 40 minutes which is the exact time it should charge from 0 to 100 but sometimes it shows 3 hrs sometimes 2hr sometimes 6 hrs.I have a sony 5000 mah power bank. when i connect my nexus 5 to that with nexus 5 usb cable it still shows the same problem. I have connected a couple of chargers but still same problem.

There are times I will hit the power button and I can count off one thousand one, one thousand two, up to one thousand six before the screen will light up and then it lights up for just a second and then it goes dark like it has timed out because of inactivity.It is a real wonderful feature when I am showing off my state of the art, top of the line, Android Flagship Motorola phone to people.It does this regularly if I have not used the phone for more than an hour or so and sometimes it will happen sporadically during periods where I check the phone every few minutes, like when I am expecting important emails.
I did a factory reset and removed all of the factory bloatware apps and updated my phone so that it is current on .83.I did not put any apps onto the phone, I left it alone, just set up my accounts.And the phone still has the problem with the long wake cycles.So I went ahead and put my apps back on my phone.Oh, and I tried with and without the SD card in the phone as well. Checking all possible variables.So does anyone else enjoy such long awakening cycles or am I the lucky one here? Does my Atrix need to go on permanent vacation at the AT&T store while I acquire a replacement? Or is this the nature of all Android devices and I should just suck it up?
I got my new iPhone 4 today and before I downloaded any apps,took any pictures or anything I tried to sync music into it only to find it took forever and kept "getting stuck" or freezing on certain parts. This is the first time I tried to sync it and have tried multiple times since and it still won't work.
It freezes even before I sink it,like when it tries to recognise it sometimes that doesn't even work and it crashes my phone.
And also the one time it managed to sync, it didn't work for half of it.

Every time I try to sync my iPhone, whether it's with the usb cable or over wifi, it gets stuck at 'step 7 of 7, waiting for items to copy'. Generally it waits there for about 15 minutes and then starts copying thousands of tracks. There's no apparant problem with the music that it's trying to copy to the phone & it's not doing it with the entire library. I know it's not a major problem, but an action that used to take a few minutes at most, has started to take up to an hour.

For some reason, the screen on my at&t gs6 doesn't seem as responsive as it should be. It often misses swipes I make while playing games or in the ui it also seems to take a bit longer than normal to register taps while typing.
I searched settings and developer options and I see no way to increase screen sensitivity.
Also happens a lot when pulling the drop down menu.
i am not sure if i changed something or not but when i plug my phone in it syncs for about 20 minutes. before it was maybe 2-3 at the most. i dont sync any music to my phone and i only have 2 pages of apps. just says backing up phone forever. it never did this.

I can no longer add a contact on my phone and expect it to be added to my Address Book automatically after the next sync, and the whole 'Groups' thing confuses the crap out of me. I have my Yahoo account linked, but now I don't actually want anything to do with Yahoo (or Google) when it comes to my contacts: all I want is contacts on my phone and on my Mac, nothing else. I have used the iphone to listen to my audiobooks since I got my first iphone. only about 6 will sync. I can check them and it stays checked but they will not transfer. This included some of the ones that I have had on it before. I have even tried to sync all audio books, but only the same few will transfer. During transfer there is no mention of the checked books
I purchased and have been happily using b torch 9800 since sometime early this year. It has always synced smoothly through h Outlook with my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes - but no longer. Several weeks ago I installed the new BlackBerry update. Now all I have is a phone and some nice photos and info about appointments I had weeks ago. I admit that I am technologically challenged, but "the tech guy" at work is stumped also. it appears to go through the motions of syncing (connecting to outlook, reviewing contacts, calendar, etc.)but when it announces completion nothing has updated on my bb. Tech guy tried to install the update but couldn't successfully revert to prior version. For now I'm back to writing down my appointments on paper and calling my office when I need the tel number for a recently new client , but that's already old. Apparently I'm not the only one with this bb created problem. I assume bb has a patch or will real soon

I'd just plug in my phone, launch the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and boom, contacts synced.Now, even though there are changes, the synchronization process starts, but it never updates anything. I updated my DTM to the latest, but still nothing Tried a battery pull on my BB, but no go there either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my phone in May 2011, and for the very first time was able to sync my phone contacts with my facebook contacts. As a bit of a socialite, this was perfect! I was able to see status updates from my contacts list, i was able to see their profile pictures flash on screen if they phoned, texted or emailed, and I was able to even see status updates from my contacts too.
Anyway, a few days ago i downloaded an updated FB app from Marketplace. All was still fine, and contacts in syn. Then earlier today i accidentally logged out of the FB app and it took all the connected info betwene my contacts and FB with it.
I have since logged back in and resynced my contacts. However... no longer are the profile pictures connected (I usually recognise calls, emails and texts by the photo not the name), i cant see facebook related information, and I just dont like it I've played around with all the options of views, syncs, and options etc but to no avail.
Blackberry bold 9900. Using the desktop software. Just did some updates. Now synching my address book to Yahoo Contacts is no longer an option. The only option is Windows Contacts. Only option for Tasks is iCalendar.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm done banging my head against a wall and have searched and searched on how to fix this, as although I'm a newbie to this site, I feel like I can generally navigate myself around my BB to fix issues here and there. This one, I cannot, for the life of me! Here's the situation: I had to wipe my entire BB Bold the other day. I did that successful, reloaded all my settings/applications and all was well and good, including syncing my Calendar and Contacts. I realized that my contacts were double, triple and sometimes quadropled during the syncing process, thus having the duplicates on both my device and Outlook. Not to mention, totally reconfigured my "File As" in my Outlook - but that's another topic. Issue at hand, after turning the Wireless Syncronization OFF, checking my Default services and following any advice here on the forums. I now can't get ANY of my contacts to sync from Outlook to my device. Except 2 random contacts. When I go to sync, it registers the address book and asks if I want to delete 8XX contacts from Outlook to Device, which I DON't!Anyway, long winded.

Today the native calendar (green one) on my Galaxy S5 stopped syncing with my Google calendar. When I checked the settings there were no calendars listed. When I try to add a calendar, the app crashes. In addition to that, all the appointments on my phone have been deleted. The calendar is version 1.0.
It also will not sync to Outlook, which it had done previously.
After a recent update, my music library will no longer sync, nor does Ovi suite see any files on my E7 (which are really there). After attempting to sync, it will come up with the message "failure to sync". Oddly enough, contacts etc all sync without a problem and there is no problem listening to the music on the E7. I can copy music directly from Windows Mediaplayer, but that will cause the album not to show up in the albums on the E7 (though they are accessible through the file manager and then all works again.
