i am not sure if i changed something or not but when i plug my phone in it syncs for about 20 minutes. before it was maybe 2-3 at the most. i dont sync any music to my phone and i only have 2 pages of apps. just says backing up phone forever. it never did this.
View 10 RepliesI got my new iPhone 4 today and before I downloaded any apps,took any pictures or anything I tried to sync music into it only to find it took forever and kept "getting stuck" or freezing on certain parts. This is the first time I tried to sync it and have tried multiple times since and it still won't work.
It freezes even before I sink it,like when it tries to recognise it sometimes that doesn't even work and it crashes my phone.
And also the one time it managed to sync, it didn't work for half of it.

My iphone 4 is taking forever to sync...I let it sync all night and only completed about 1/4 of of the songs downloaded. Apps seem to be fine. I have tried restoring it and that didn't do anything.

Each time I try to back up my Bold 9900 it takes forever and sometimes back up is completed with errors. I guess I'm doing something wrong. I upgraded to software 7.1 and I'm using Desktop software 7.0 now. It is the back up of RMS Databases record that takes a whole day to complete.

We have tried several different options: scanning my pin on his phone through BBM, authorization took forever-was pending two days later scanning his pin on my phone through BBM,authorization took forever - still pending two days later deleted each other's contact using BBM and tried it all again. The pending authorization seems to be stuck and neither one of us receives each others request for authorization.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo today I finally got my 950XL, and started setting it up. I opted to restore my most recent backup, as I wanted to keep as many of my apps and settings as I could. However, I've been waiting on 82 apps downloading for a couple of hours now, with nothing seeming to move. There were a couple that got installed but since then everything seems to have ground to a halt. I've restarted the phone a few times to try and kick it into gear, but it's all still very slow. Right now the 2 active downloads don't seem to want to start - they have the progress bar, but not moving. I've tried pausing them all and setting them off one-by-one, but they then sit on pending seemingly indefinitely. Same if I cancel and get again from the store.

I have had a problem with it charging, it charges consistently but takes a very long time to charge (more then it is supposed to) ex: it says it will take 2 hrs and 24 mins to full charge and ends up taking 4 hours to charge! My charging cable has been acting up lately and was wondering If that was the problem? I have been charging without case on.

I used the BlackBerry Desktop Software and clicked the "Update my device" button in updating my BlackBerry Curve device software version. The process was started last Monday, November 15, 2010 but until now is not yet finish (Thursday, November 18, 2010). Is this normal? I cannot disconnect my device because it said that "During these steps, do not disconnect your device or interrupt this process as it could make your device unusable."
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've an iPhone 4s 64gb iOs 5.0.1 for 3 weeks now, but still can't sync it w/ iTunes at all, I've tried iTunes version 10.5.3.3 and version 10.6.1.7 but both of them stuck on backing up (step 2 of 6).
I'm using win7 64bit. Reseting the iPhone and reinstall iTunes doesn't help at all.
And when I plug the iPhone4s to the laptop the lockscreen slider (where it used to say 'slide to unlock') didn't change to 'slide to cancel sync' or something like that (if it should have been that way) but there's two arrow circling on the upper left of the screen tho.

why does Moto Media Link take forever to sync my music? Its annoying, but I love having a phone that can hold music. I do like whats on Gingerbread, now that I don't have to find the album name, but still, it shouldn't take an hour +, especially when the screen says 20 minutes left.

I have been using the reset warnings tip i found on these forums which eliminates data being sent to apple during sync... Even with the almost instant backup it still takes a ridiculous amount of time..
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to sync my iPhone, whether it's with the usb cable or over wifi, it gets stuck at 'step 7 of 7, waiting for items to copy'. Generally it waits there for about 15 minutes and then starts copying thousands of tracks. There's no apparant problem with the music that it's trying to copy to the phone & it's not doing it with the entire library. I know it's not a major problem, but an action that used to take a few minutes at most, has started to take up to an hour.

Tonight a friend and myself were JUST talking about backing up our files on cydia, so I open cydia to look around and boom.. Phone is froze. Reset it and it has the wonderful plug into itunes..I try to jailbreak and it fails now. *Yes, its tethered because its newer.. BUT its still 3.1.2. I went to use itunes to restore and it wants to put 3.1.3 on there.. NOT good.I rely on the jailbreak to use my phone, now its dead. Is there a way I can fix this thing? I have a mac and a pc I can try things on.I hope I can get it working, or else I am totally screwed.. Just bought the phone for 750 dollars last month, and now again I am stuck with nothing. I feel sick to my stomach.

I had this problem a while ago and I was told my motoblur account was inactive. I'm assuming this has happened again somehow? How does this keep happening?
