My iphone 4 is taking forever to sync...I let it sync all night and only completed about 1/4 of of the songs downloaded. Apps seem to be fine. I have tried restoring it and that didn't do anything.

I got my new iPhone 4 today and before I downloaded any apps,took any pictures or anything I tried to sync music into it only to find it took forever and kept "getting stuck" or freezing on certain parts. This is the first time I tried to sync it and have tried multiple times since and it still won't work.
It freezes even before I sink it,like when it tries to recognise it sometimes that doesn't even work and it crashes my phone.
And also the one time it managed to sync, it didn't work for half of it.

i am not sure if i changed something or not but when i plug my phone in it syncs for about 20 minutes. before it was maybe 2-3 at the most. i dont sync any music to my phone and i only have 2 pages of apps. just says backing up phone forever. it never did this.

I am trying to add my son to my BBM. He has the curve and I have the torch. We have tried several different options: scanning my pin on his phone through BBM, authorization took forever-was pending two days later scanning his pin on my phone through BBM,authorization took forever - still pending two days later deleted each other's contact using BBM and tried it all again. The pending authorization seems to be stuck and neither one of us receives each others request for authorization.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo today I finally got my 950XL, and started setting it up. I opted to restore my most recent backup, as I wanted to keep as many of my apps and settings as I could. However, I've been waiting on 82 apps downloading for a couple of hours now, with nothing seeming to move. There were a couple that got installed but since then everything seems to have ground to a halt. I've restarted the phone a few times to try and kick it into gear, but it's all still very slow. Right now the 2 active downloads don't seem to want to start - they have the progress bar, but not moving. I've tried pausing them all and setting them off one-by-one, but they then sit on pending seemingly indefinitely. Same if I cancel and get again from the store.

I have had a problem with it charging, it charges consistently but takes a very long time to charge (more then it is supposed to) ex: it says it will take 2 hrs and 24 mins to full charge and ends up taking 4 hours to charge! My charging cable has been acting up lately and was wondering If that was the problem? I have been charging without case on.

I used the BlackBerry Desktop Software and clicked the "Update my device" button in updating my BlackBerry Curve device software version. The process was started last Monday, November 15, 2010 but until now is not yet finish (Thursday, November 18, 2010). Is this normal? I cannot disconnect my device because it said that "During these steps, do not disconnect your device or interrupt this process as it could make your device unusable."

I have been using the reset warnings tip i found on these forums which eliminates data being sent to apple during sync... View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to sync my iPhone, whether it's with the usb cable or over wifi, it gets stuck at 'step 7 of 7, waiting for items to copy'. Generally it waits there for about 15 minutes and then starts copying thousands of tracks. There's no apparant problem with the music that it's trying to copy to the phone & it's not doing it with the entire library. I know it's not a major problem, but an action that used to take a few minutes at most, has started to take up to an hour.

I Have iPhone 5s and for the past month when I play my music while running it keeps shuffling. I have the shake to shuffle off and in my playlist the shuffle is off when I start running but after the first song plays it shuffles and on the playlist current song playing has shuffle on so again I turn it off and after one song it is back with shuffle on. It does it only when I run if I'm walking the shuffle does not turn itself back on. since I have had this phone since last year when the 5s came out and have never had this problem during running until the last month.

With my iPhone 4, running iOS 5.1.1, syncing notes in Mail results in a stange blank Notes document appearing in the Notes sidebar in Mail. The Notes look like a yellow sheet of ruled paper, as they do on my iPhone, but they open to reveal no information other than their names.
Once opened, they disappear from my list of Notes, and upon the next sync via USB cable from my iPhone to my Mac, the notes also disapepar from the phone. When opened in Mail, the blank and useless no-longer-a-note Notes will not close unles I quit Mail. I am running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. In Mail, I've tried both listing the Notes in the Inbox, and as their own separate group.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI used the app last night and tried out the Internet Radio function...nice function.Powered off my phone and put it on the charger for the night. This morning when I turned on the phone the music app started on its own. I only discovered the problem after my battery went from 100% charge to like 88% charge in like an hour. When I checked to see what the heck was causing the battery drain I discovered the music app was the culprit. I force closed the app and powered off the phone. Waited a couple of minutes and powered the phone on. And yes, the music app once again was started on power up and I had to force close again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery since the jellybean update I've had nothing but problems. The device is always running slow, it is not smooth like butter there is a lag. And when I'm listening to music its cuts in and out as if it were a scratched cd. I've tried doing a factory restore and it didn't help. That's what Verizon suggested and it didn't work. Also Verizon's fix to everything is to send out a certified refurbished phone and I don't want that. I bought my phone brand new and I know nothings happened to my phone I don't want to a phone I know nothing about. Also I've noticed that not one of all the call recording apps work on the droid razr hd.
View 15 Replies View RelatedMost of the time when a call ends and I'm using my H17text headset the damn music player, or whatever media app was last used, will start playing EVEN THOUGH it was not running before the call. That would not be so bad but when you have a phone that's set to lock you have to unlock it and find the damn app that's running to get it to stop. This is just plain STUPID!
I've seen this posted all over the place so Motorola my phone when we know it's a ANDROID bug. What I want to know is how to get it to STOP! I'd rather have to manually restart the damn media app after a call that to have it always start with out me wanting it!
